Difference is, MJ played defenders who were able to body him up, put their hands on him, and be physical. Doesn't matter who the defender is that is guarding Bryant, or how 'big or athletic' they are, the rules prevent them from hardly even touching the offensive player.

Pat Riley is very unlucky. I've been seeing videos of Jordan, Carter & Stuff and is always him when stars make the best career marks. VC made 51 pts vs Riley also and he had the same expression that in this video. I'm sure every time it happens he thinks about MJ and says "I can't erase him from my mind".
BTW Riley is one of the best coaches ever.

It's also the same with those slow-motion videos that show how a player travels (for example Iverson), but the fact is that in slow mo, everything is a travel or a carry! Now for this particular example, can u tell me where you see the travel? I see his left pivot foot, and he doesn't switch it, and he doesn't walk with the ball...so please tell me what do you see.

sorry man but it wasn't a travel, mj was on the act of dribbling before his right foot land on the floor. same rules applies on hop step where you grab the ball w/ 2 hands upon hopping and not hold the ball and then hop.
