if you think all martial arts films a "f'in fake" you've never seen some of the classic jackie chan films. Jackie Chan used to be the definition of badass, it's too bad he can't move like he used to or do the same life threatening stunts he used to. but you are somewhat right, boxing does translate to film really easily since it's not as hard as other martial arts are to accurately portray.
