Industrial farms produced the majority of food for a profit and the products are sold on commodity exchanges, which effectively go to the highest bidders. Hence, an unproportionate supply of food goes to the richer developed nations. As your farmers are subsidized, it enables your country to dump the market with artificially cheap food.
@Nevidge African governments are unable to provide the same level of subsidies; hence staple farmers are forced to covert to cash crop cultivation as they can't compete. Your corporations then set up factory farms in Africa, growing cash-crop for export to your country, and drive local farmers out of business through economy of scale. Excess supply are then left to rot in landfills, rather than being sold to Africans as they could not afford it. Please read up and help prevent over-consumption.
@hellopanda369 America gives aid all the time to Africa. Counties in Africa like Angola, Burundi, Mozambique, Somalia and Uganda are at civil war and their governments control isn't effective. That causes the farmers to neglect the land because of limited resources. Africa has some of the most fertile soils in the world, but yet they can't farm it because of their corrupt governments.
