  • Josh <3

  • "Oh, this is too good to be true."

    XD

  • "You guys don't realize it, but you're having a pretty bad night."

  • LOL...Classic!

  • Except that having an eighth of coke in your pocket wouldn't land you in federal prison. County Jail for 30-90 days sure but not prison. Threatening the Presidents daughter as well as his staff on the other hand...

And Josh has my vote for the badass of the year because of this. Charlie is awesome but Josh just makes this scene..'this is too good to be true'

  • @babytweeze85 Federal agents arrested them, though, and there ARE federal laws against coke.

  • @ZeDingoBlag It has nothing to do with who arrested them. It's the amount. I'm sure with the combination of the threatening the staff/zooey it could get them in serious trouble. But just having 1/8th of coke on you isn't a 1 year+ sentence, which is what prisons are used for. More like county jails for 30 days-6mo. But combining the drug charge with threatening the Presidents daughter and WW staffers....he could do time easily.

  • she's 19 you gotta take her to maryland lol....

  • I swear to god i'll blow your head off

  • No wonder I love this show!

  • Wish the next scene was on here somewhere. When Bartlet was wanting to know what happened.

  • how's everybody doin?

  • I gotta get me one of those.

  • "Yeah, uh, you guys don't realize it, but you're having a pretty bad night." LOL!

  • @miahk2 Secret Service :)

  • Comment removed

  • @miahk2 Except they aren't FBI, they are Secret Service. And no, you DO NOT mess with them. Ever.

  • "How's everybody doing?"

  • "oh this is too good to be true"

that quote defines so well who Josh is^^

  • This is season 2

  • @gsim17 season 1

  • I love Josh Lyman!!

  • what episode is this from??

  • @pinkpanther7892 this is 'Mr Willis of Ohio', episode 6

  • Charlie Young is very articulate. I love how he matured throughout the seven series.

  • There's nothing sweeter than seeing those jerks being clobbered by the Secret Service. A great scene from a great show

  • Not that it's important to the scene, but I just figured out recently (yes, years after the fact) that the first jackass to approach Zoey, the one in the green plaid, was also Jesse, Xander and Willow's best friend in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    I LOVE THIS SCENE!!!!

  • I was hoping to see the WHOLE bar scene but there's a GREAT part missing here! Just before Zoey makes her way up to the bar, both she and Mallory give Sam a hard time about his "special" friend. CJ and Josh weigh in on it too... Funny stuff.

  • "I swear to god I'll blow your head off"

  • @72Isaacblue Hell yeah.

  • 1:56 lmfao Josh

  • @Ihdreniel Best part of the entire scene haha

  • When you've been up against bozos like these mongrels in the similar situations you know how sweet this scene is.

  • How's everybody doin'?

  • That's the exact scene that made me a fan of the show! Best show in TV history.

  • If this really happened like to one of the Bush twins it would have been a week long story on cable news.

  • If it happened to ANY Presidential daughter it would have been a week-long on cable news...

  • @Napalmdog

That's what i was talking about, i just used the Bush twins as an example.

  • Is that dark-haired woman standing by CJ Mandy or someone else?

  • Malorie.

  • That's Mallory, Leo's daughter and Sam's longtime flirt

  • This is what should happen every time some drunk won't leave a woman alone in a bar. Or anywhere, for that matter.

  • Yeah, our military should be in this country protecting our citizens rather than getting killed in other countries!

  • Comment removed

  • @DJbruehl I'm talking about the UK military, not the US military. I wouldn't read the constitution anyway, its probably boring like most Americans!

  • Comment removed

  • @DJbruehl LOL. Didn't think you would like that comment :P

  • Comment removed

  • @DJbruehl I guess it depends on how I feel really...

  • Comment removed

  • @DJbruehl Take care, and enjoy the rest of your day :)

  • @DJbruehl, arrogant hmm, strange, i thought that was included with american and french stereotypes :P

  • That was the Secret Service not the military.

  • @beetlejuice2001

I realize that. I was defending against some stupid British stereotype about my nation.

  • These are approximately the least threatening, most out-of-touch honkys they could possibly have come up with. "Doctor Huffy Puffy Dread man, Doctor Doolittle"? I almost begin to feel sorry for these guidos

  • @thatdrattedcat And Fairy Poppins.

  • this is why we love west wing :-D

  • David Nugent caused me these problems

  • "Now I'm having a good time!" LOL I love Charlie.

  • You guys are having a pretty bad night

  • Wait, wait, why don't we guess your name.

    uuummm HOW ABOUT JAILBAIT.

This kinda goes along with the phrase that Toby lays down in the RELIGIOUS SMACKDOWN scene when one of the theological men says "show the avarage teenage male a condom and his thoughts turn to lust", and then Toby says "show the average teenage male a LUG WRENCH and his thoughts turn to lust".

Which is probably very true for half of all of them.

  • Dude, you're SERIOUSLY underestimating.

Some just hide it a lot better.

  • Frat boy jack asses....I had forgotten this scene....

  • Ah... I love this scene... :P

  • "well, my work here is done." lol gotta love josh!

  • "How's everybody doing?"

    ROFLMAO

  • Does anyone know what Charlie says after he says "my name is Charlie Young jackass"?

  • "And f that bulge in your pocket's an eightball of blow, you're spending spring break in a federal prison. Now I'm having a good time"

  • "...and if that bulge in your pocket is an 8-ball of blow your spending Spring Break in a Federal Prison. Now I'm having a good time."

  • Episode anyone?

  • "My name is Charlie Young, Jackass." Best Line ..... EVER!

  • "I swear to God I'll blow your head off!"

    BEST LINE!

  • Just goes to show...ya never know who you're talking to!....;)

  • Bad Ass

  • Who doesn't love Josh? He kicks ass.

  • sam is better

  • @idontcare545 so does charlie.

  • i have the complete series..awesome

  • The fun starts at 2:13

  • I miss this show so much!

  • What was the name of the episode that scene was from?

By the way, it was a very good, clever scene.

  • The episode is "Mr Willis Of Ohio"

  • I agree with 722 treered great scene with great performances west wing was one of the best shows ever west wing is irreplaceable and shall be legendary and great forever and never forgotten

  • Ship the series to China and every country that hates our way of life

  • Top 10 easy...

  • so many classic scenes, its hard to pinpoint a top 10 never mind ur best scene

  • Oh, this is too good to be true.

    Great line.

  • who hits on a girl with like 4 friends? nothing like creeping....

  • No kidding! D:

  • Someone with a ruffie in their pocket and rape on their mind.

  • haha this is what happens if you don't watch the news, so you don't know what the president's kids look like, so you accidentally hit on them, then end up being accosted by the secret service.

  • great scene. if the punk does have drugs, i hope he qualified for the "no fly list"; fun for the rest of his life!

  • God, I love Josh.

  • "Well....my work here is done." LOL he is adorable. :)

  • I agree. I love Josh. :)

  • It's good to be the king.

  • I love this scene...one of my favorites! What happens when teenagers mouth off to the wrong people! Haha!!

  • haha "if that bulge in your pocket is an 8ball of blow you boys are spending spring break in a FEDERAL PRISON"

  • Its what happens when poor/angry people breed

  • I can think of a few times when it woulda been really sweet to have a couple or four Secret Service agents come take care of some jerks in a bar for me :)

  • Haha cant we all!

  • Epic Pwned

  • Lol. That's Foo Fighters in the background. They played on the show's set int he last season, campaigning for Santos (and Kerry)

  • Have you ever heard the term "shoot first, ask questions last"? That's what they have the right to do. They just choose efficiency over recklessness. The don't draw their weapons in without the intention of squeezing off a few rounds. You'll be lucky if they give you a chance to surrender once they establish a threat.

  • Any secret service agent who guns down three unarmed college students in a crowded bar (guaranteeing injury to bystanders and the first daughter) would be shown the door so fast he'd have whiplash. Also they wouldn't come in the door saying "Federal Agent" they'd come in saying "Secret Service"...

  • That's what I meant by them being efficient and not being reckless and trigger happy. I did find it strange they didn't identify themselves as Secret Service.

  • First off, they're protecting the First Daughter. And the reason they came in was because Josh pressed the First Daughters's "Panic Button". They'd have to assume she's in trouble. Hence, coming in with guns drawn would be an appropriate response.

And stating "Federal Agents" would be more likely to be used. If they came in saying "Secret Service", people are likely to put 2 and 2 together and realize there's a high profile person inside. And they are Federal Agents.

  • That's like saying that the guys delivering your mail can say "Federal Agents"...they are Federal employees. Having been around the secret service I can promise you they identify themselves as that or "Treasury" Agents....

  • Well, yes, postal workers are federal employees, but hardly AGENTS. :)

I don't even know why we're nitpicking it... It's a TV show. We could nitpick that the Presidents limo on the show is a standard limo - I've seen episodes where they open the back door. Have you seen the back door on the REAL Presidential limo? The thing's a foot thick!

  • Josh Lyman... you're my hero!

  • Great response by the secret service LOL

  • Its k-fed

  • that's how the secret sevice do it. they say they only pull out a gun if they intend to use it.

  • Do Secret Service people arrest people? I figure in that case, they would have to pull out a gun with the intention of suppression, not usage.

  • I meant Secret Service Agents. Secret Service people sounds really retarded.

  • Yes, they're allowed to. They just then transfer them to the FBI where they get prosecuted by US attorneys if necessary.

  • Yes, they do, and they have other tasks besides the President. They are part of the Treasury Dept.

  • actually now they're part of the DHLS

  • HAha. Gotta love it! <333

    Which episode is this from?

  • Never mind :D

    Episode 6

  • lol, so epic. I would love to be able to do that at a bar haha

  • 1:25 I love how sam doesn't even flinch to get up

  • which episode was this from - i don't remember it at all

  • i think from mr. willis of ohio

  • I love the look on Sam's face when the guy challenges him "You wanna go?" :)

  • "my name is Charlie Young, jackass"! God I loved Charlie! Josh & Sam too!

  • Charlie" " NOW, I'm having a good time!" lol!!!

  • federal agent: Federal agent nobody move!

Sam and Josh: Right here, right here (pointing fingers)

    CLASSIC!!!

  • Your mother and sister are!

  • haaha i love wen cj and josh argue lol

they are my two favorite characters

  • My favorite part is when the agents come in and Josh and Sam are saying ::right here, right here::

  • 2nd best moment of the 1st season...

  • what was the best moment do u think?

  • HAHAHA. one of the agents says "shut up! i swear to god i'll blow your head off."

  • In that deep creepy voice only a Secret Servive agent coud pull off. Hahaha

  • hahaha, that second douche out of the three idiots started to look very concerned when he recognized Josh and Zoe.

  • Best part is when the kid asks Rob Lowe, "You want to go?", an homage to the horrible Rob Lowe hockey flick "Youngblood".

  • Lesson one through three: do NOT annoy the secret service.

  • oh I love this scene.

  • i love this it makes me laugh every time i see it. which is way tooo many times lol.

  • Was charlie old enough to be drinking in the first season? I always thought he and zoe were the same age?

  • I think that in the episode where Charlie was hired, Josh is asking if it would be ok to hire him and mentions to Leo that Charlie is 22 years old but put off college to take care of his little sister

  • Thanks. That's aside from the federal charges of unlawful restraint when they wouldn't let Zoey get through. Unlawful Restrain is a lesser included felony of kidnapping and the fact the three of them participated in it makes it conspiracy as well.

  • What did Charlie say about the bulge before he'd be spending spring break in a federal prison I couldn't quite catch all that?

  • "If that bulge in your pocket is an 8 ball of blow..."

    In otherwords, if it's cocaine.

  • "Well, my work here is done." works for me.

  • Foo Fighters on soundtrack...

  • Great line from the agent - "Shut up! I swear to God i'll blow your head off."

  • just luv this viddd . . . one of the best moments of the first season by far

  • Watching this always puts a smile on my face

  • I love this scene. "Oh this is too good to be true."

  • my fav is, "yeah, uh, you guys don't realize it but you're having a pretty bad night"

  • Rofl...

  • awesome cool cool....

  • Wooo! I love this scene.

  • Awesome.

  • Yeah for Charlie!!

  • Charlie and Zoey were a cute couple! Wish we'd seen more of them.
