I can expose the hand going through the table for you guys:
Part1:
The most critical part is from 4:40 to 4:44. the surface of the table is rotatable, with a hole through the table elsewhere. from 4:40 to 4:44, look at liu qian's LEFT hand (not the right hand). his left hand was not on the table before the camera zoomed in, but after the camera zoomed out at 4:44, his Left hand was on the table. The reason is because, the hole through the glass in right UNDER his LEFT hand. .
After this is done, he rotated the table to the right with his LEFT hand so the hole is now infront of him, and he can easily "pierce" his right hand through it. The most critical part is from 4:40 to 4:44, when the table was rotated so the hole is right under his LEFT hand. (e.g under his clenched fist)
video poster, you are wrong that the table has 2 piece of glass, it only has 1 rotatable piece of glass.
how do you explain how he did this same tricks at one random cafe in the middle of nowhere ??? he practically took a cookie from the other side of the glass from that cafe..

This is a flawed explaination. I have compared the magic Liu Qian performed to what was said in this video. How do you explain the coins that went right before our eyes? For the last magic where his hands went back up through the glass, the people was clapping. I have seen videos of Liu Qian performed similar trick on the streets. He can put money through the glass and even sip water through the glass right before our eyes. His magic defies logic.

The very end of this trick, however, when he doesn't immediately present the coins makes it very plain he's resetting the table. I like how P&T reveal classical magic tricks, but of course they present their own twist to it and obviously don't reveal how they do that.
@BRBgottaskate The section that the magician is on is the only part that moves. The other 3 sections have glass on top of it so that the cups and dishes don't move. At 00:58 is shows how the table is constructed.
This doesn't show the entire trick... there is a part where they put something over the "hole" and then makes something go through while it is on the "hole"

the first coin he plamed, the second 2 coins is actually 1 trick coin. It either has magnets or rubber bands that snap the 2 halfs of a coin into one as he drops it on the table. In both cases he has another coin in his other hand, which he drops in the glass bowl.

@RookieN08 - I would have to say the guy who performed this trick should have practiced a lot longer, there was some very obvious flaws. He put on a great performance though, just seems that there are MANY magicians who practice much more and do much more convincing work due to years of practice, and they do not get the airtime. When you have a fake audience and a cameraman in on the trick, I would expect much more... This guy spent too much time designing the gimmick and not enough practicing.

This is not exactly true tho. He did do a coin through the glass trick where she gets to pick where to put the coins, and and he placed 3 coins slightly on top of each other in that spot, then moved his hand beneath the glass, and made the middle coin fall through the glass. If your theory is correct, then the other 2 coins would move with the moving glass for the hole. You've got a nice guess, but it is only valid for this last trick.

Since, it is meant to be 'magic', let it be! Why probe into it and get it exposed?! revealing magic secret is to purposefully remove the entertainment value of watching a magic. magic is a lot of creative work, never mean to fool anyone, but bring joy and amazement to people. If you believe magic is awesome, don't try to figure it out.

Of course it was not magic ... it is a magic "trick." I knew that the first time I saw it. The mystery was in HOW the trick was done. I knew it had to be something like this, but it was very was done and beautifully executed. Great entertainment. One example of how curiosity change the world: Michael Jackson. If not for his, I doubted you would be watching music videos on youtube, or listening to pop songs or other sort of songs now. Liu Qian should accept this failure. And the reason why he tried to expose the magic was out of curiosity, curious as to why Liu Qian could do the trick. Curiosity had shape the world over the past millenium. If not for curiosity, you wont be posting insults on Youtube now, you won't be watching his magic shows, because all this wouldn't have exist. You would still be naked, cooking raw meat you just hunted at the front of the cave. So this guy here is smart, and stop being jealous.

Assholes like you is the reason why most of the magicians such as David Blaine,Criss Angel etc don't do magic tricks anymore. Magicians take years to invent their own magic tricks and master them. @RookieN08 @SHlNeeFAN Idiots. It's called magic trick for a reason. Magic trick is when a magician does an trick which gives the illusion that he performed something magical. When a magic trick is figured out, it becomes just a cheap trick. It' s the magician's job to invent a trick that can't be figured out, if he can't do that, his trick does not deserve to be called magic tricks. So don't blame the people for figuring out, blame the magician for their lack of skills.

My first orginal Card trick?
Person picked a card, and tore it up, placed it in a paper bag,
choise another card, had a look, and left it on top (in one peice)
*CLICK*
On top, is their first, once torn card - in bag is their second one! In PEICES!
The pieces go into bag, shake it up, and the card comes out in one piece! two cards back to normal, paper bag can be ripped open to show it's empty.
Its a shame people expose

@RookieN08 - I would have to say the guy who performed this trick should have practiced a lot longer, there was some very obvious flaws. He put on a great performance though, just seems that there are MANY magicians who practice much more and do much more convincing work due to years of practice, and they do not get the airtime. When you have a fake audience and a cameraman in on the trick, I would expect much more... This guy spent too much time designing the gimmick and not enough practicing.

This is not exactly true tho. He did do a coin through the glass trick where she gets to pick where to put the coins, and and he placed 3 coins slightly on top of each other in that spot, then moved his hand beneath the glass, and made the middle coin fall through the glass. If your theory is correct, then the other 2 coins would move with the moving glass for the hole. You've got a nice guess, but it is only valid for this last trick.

Come on audience. We watch magic because it is 'magic'. The entertainers including Liu Qian himself is working hard on his inventions, it is definitely not easy. Since, it is meant to be 'magic', let it be! Why probe into it and get it exposed?! We all know from the bottom of our heart that magics are not real, but we must give the magicians their credits for making it so astounding, real and most importantly a crowd pleaser! Go get a life, people.

@acer290s well, the reason the cup and packet drink did not move is due to the 3/4 glass over the first glass with a hole. look at the table layout from the start again.

exposing a magic trick is really not something to be proud of... you think people will be thankful or glad? and that you will be celebrated as the big hero who found out the secret to such a mysterious trick?? well you won't because you destroy the joy and miraculous feeling people get when seing magic... the real heros are magicians who work hard to put up a great show to entertain and amaze people!! their job is honorable and you have nothing better to do ruin their work?!!

revealing magic secret is to purposefully remove the entertainment value of watching a magic. magic is a lot of creative work, never mean to fool anyone, but bring joy and amazement to people. If you believe magic is awesome, don't try to figure it out.

大多数揭秘的人都是因为自己不能perform，所以才会想要揭穿魔术师的特技。Its not about exposing, its about whether or not you can perform smoothly, reenact and set up the whole magic show. If you can then the viewers will give you thumbs up like they gave to 刘谦. So what if you can (try to) explain the magic trick? Can you do it? 你做得到吗？

@jayangli The people at the table WERE IN ON IT. Watch "The Prestige" A magician never works alone. Someone else moved the table for him on the other side blocked from your vision by his body. at 0:211 you can see his arm slide from it being moved.

all magic is not real. people know that. but i looked at the trick again and the magician was really good. he was so smooth and just a great performance. i dont understand this guy whos trying to work out how that hand through the glass is done. u might as well do a video for every magician that does a good trick and work them out. and am sure most people can. you are just a lonely idiot arent you.

Of course it was not magic ... it is a magic "trick." I knew that the first time I saw it. The mystery was in HOW the trick was done. I knew it had to be something like this, but it was very was done and beautifully executed. Great entertainment. It's almost a shame to see it revealed ... enjoying the mystery is part of the fun of an illusion performance.

One example of how curiosity change the world: Michael Jackson. If not for his, I doubted you would be watching music videos on youtube, or listening to pop songs or other sort of songs now. Because of his curiosity to try out a different sort of music, you get to listen to all those songs. If not, you would be hugging teddy bears and listening to boring operas.

Liu Qian should accept this failure. And the reason why he tried to expose the magic was out of curiosity, curious as to why Liu Qian could do the trick. Curiosity had shape the world over the past millenium. If not for curiosity, you wont be posting insults on Youtube now, you won't be watching his magic shows, because all this wouldn't have exist. You would still be naked, cooking raw meat you just hunted at the front of the cave. So this guy here is smart, and stop being jealous.

You lame people la. So what if he exposed Liu Qian's magic. If Liu Qian was this brilliant, his magic wouldnt have been exposed. This is call learning from mistake and further improve. If Liu Qian couldn't even accept such a small obstacle in his path to glory, how could we respect him as a great magician? Since someone could expose his magic, then of couse he could improve on it and make sure it couldnt be exposed in the future.
