  • Horribly underrated and overlooked game, but i had no idea it came out way back in 1997! o_o

I found it in a bargain bin at the mall about 6 or 7 years ago, and I still have it today.

  • peeeeepoooraaaachaaaa!! or i think thats what she used to say :P

  • I owned this game... but it got messed up.... I loved it so much and beat it hundreds of times

  • i have that game bud my playstations stays black after this intro wont laud the menu bud my pc with a emulator works great!

  • Ah, they don't make games like this anymore.

  • OMG! I still have this game for playstation.. I loved this game, but I don't have a playstation anymore :(

  • I used to play this all the time when I was a kid :3

  • amo este juego quiero hacer el cosplay de nera shina nera

  • I luv this! Te wolf boy wuz awsome )

  • Great game, I used to play in my psone when i was a kid

  • I just learned about Shyna Nera Shyna today and she's already one of my all time fav videogame protagonists. She's both adorable and badass at the same time. You can't go wrong with that deadly combination. The intro itself shows that this game could have made a pretty cool anime in my opinion. Oh well, many people before me have already made this remark because they agree.

  • omg.. this make me cry (? hehe.. awesome game in my opinion, one of the most incredible games for ps1 n_n !!

  • I loved this game! I had it for Playstation, but it was too hard for a child like me... ;~; I still got to the credits where I got to play as the knight though! I wanna play this game again... D: I would so buy it off PSN... they should really put this up!

  • i hate this game when i was little!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE PS1 GAMES!!! so amazing

  • gawd shyna reminds me of a cartoon in Jetix that starts with letter Y

  • Heh, I love this intro. I used to reset the game over and over just to see it.

  • This game has beautiful graphics and great presentation..and will always have a special place in my heart. :P

However, the gameplay can be annoying as all Hell at times.

  • result after 2012

  • @GTVmmm1 Ten bucks that I'll be on Silhouette's side. (I used to think Mirage, but now...)

  • wow this sure brings back memories this is one of my fav games ever i never got tired of it

  • Treasure are the gods, i decided to collect each and every of their games.. god, i love them

  • The best game

  • mine broke

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish this game would get ported to PSP or something. I still play my PS1 version.

It's such an underrated game. :(

  • I remember having this game for the PS.

God I loved it haha, I should play it again.

  • Is there any real reason you would need the English version of this game? Does it have sub menus like mega man or anything? If its just for the story bits I would rather have the Saturn version myself for the sound.

  • English version was harder, had a 2 player game, and a minigame where you beat up people with Zohar in the credits.

  • English Version for the PSX starts out in a harder mode, and it has an unlockable options menu and a hidden 2 Player Mode.

  • Clock tower?...Do u mean Clockwork Knights,That was a fun game!

All the games back then were always original, especially for the Saturn!

  • they really should make a remake of these games like clock tower...

  • I agree and Even though the Protagonist looks is kinda weird,But cute.Dang,I miss that game.

  • The protagonist was adorable in my opinion =D.

  • I have to agree with you.Too adorable perhaps.I miss that game.

  • how can you get this in english

  • its was also released on the USA/JPN playstation

  • @DigiHatesMakingNames It was also ruined when brought over to America.

  • this was my very first video game! =o

  • ahhh good memories

  • lovin the music, lovin the intro...

An all around awesome game :)

  • Wow, this looks really cool, too bad I missed it! D:

Has it ever appeared on anything besides the Saturn, or am I out of luck?

  • Sony Playstation, under Working Designs in 1999.

  • Just researched it myself and found out, thanks though.

Seems that the Dreamcast version has more background layers and stuff. The Playstation one has an extra ending and some new bosses and stuff, also some sprites were edited for the American release. It was also made harder by increasing the price of all items (which I've heard slows down the game's fast pace), and weapon effects were edited so that they drain your spirit.

Kind of weird that the US Playstation version is so different. O_O

  • it's because the Americans wanted a Harder Game in relations of Sci-Fi and Action/Adventure

  • @StomachPlug TI think you're mixing up "Dreamcast" with the Saturn version. The Saturn version has all of when you mentioned. Only the PlayStation version made it to the US, although Working Designs decided to tinker with the difficulty.

  • silhouette mirage foi um anime? ou apenas isso ae?

  • E apenas um jogo com abertura em anime.

  • One of my favorite games of all time; Silhouette was unbelievably original and the gameplay was fantastic, not to mention the art. A brilliant game in every respect.

  • I remember this game!

I got stuck on the stupid chef boss... I'm going to watch up to that point so I'll know how to beat him...

Time to dust of the Sega Saturn ~!

    (And thanks for this video...)

  • Dalilah/Delilah/Deliah? Oh, I had my assk icked from him three times XD You just need to poind the Spectres(The silhouette Creatures) into his soup!

The snob had 9999 CRESIDTS Dx Right in my face!

    He's such a snob!

  • your right weird but great game

  • I really wish you still had these files.;-;

  • ah was you the one that was asking for the ending vids ? I lost the email.. I try and do them in the new year but got too much problems with familly right now tho..

  • Nah, the only ones I need are the anime scenes-the opening and the two endings. The ultimate tribute needs to be made.*.*

  • XD this game looks awsome! Id but it but Im haveing video game issues at the moment. I wish they would make an anime adaption of this game XD that would be awsome XD

  • finally got this game to work for my psp, so im vry happy ^^ (but sadly cant play the opening for some reason...)

  • this game looks awsome! XD (wish I stil had a sega saturn X3)

  • One of my favorite Treasure games.

  • I love this game, esp. the story and characters. I haven't played the Saturn version but the PSX is fine as it is for me.

  • I liked it.^^

  • Silhouette Mirage was released in the US, if that helps.

  • Heh seems every Treasure made game has good music.

  • "Prosento By Twesha!"

  • For all of the 7(?) parasites in the game, Sarosa was the best. It was powerful and doesn't burn energy like a beast.

I've been meaning to make a flash game that uses the concept of multiple forms, I hope my eventual creation kills this game like Crystalis killed NES Zelda.

  • The music is pretty cool. 2D forever.

  • I'm really happy that I managed to find the PSX CD of it after watching this. Now if only my computer doesen't always crash when I try to run the emulator!

  • I've had this game for about 7 years and i've beatin it about 10 times and its still fun. umm there is also a glitch in the game to help u out when ever u die. all u do is reload (it doesn't matter if u dont have a memory card) and it takes u to the level that u left off of. i've only used it about 2 times. once i was playing it and my mom says "what crappy graphics" i started laughing cuz she didn'tknow that the game was so old.

  • this is a very goor and hard game, perfect for players who want to challenge themselves!
