@sixspeedtwin i know what is mahabharata and know exactly why dronacharya refused to teach Eklavya because of he was a tribes man. he built a statue of dronacharya and perfected his skills. then, one day a dog was barking loudly seeing dronacharya and someone closed the dogs in such a way that his mouth closed without hurting the dog. this amazed drona. after revealing himself he offered his guru dakshina. As Arjun was drona's fav. student he demanded eklavya's thumbs and he did that happily.

Sri Krishan is a Jagadguru. We humans with our limited brains cannot understand the unlimited.  Then how can we decide that he is dhokebaz?

Even in real life so many events happen. (no promotion in job, apply apply no reply, un-timely death of a young son or husband, bad health etc. etc. to name a few)

To the human brain, it may look un-fair because we are only looking at a particular snap-shot, and not aware of the whole picture (i.e. the Karma of past many births)

guys guys.. what is this debate all about.. fair - not fair, u must know that udhisthir didn't lied.. he told ashwathama is dead but not human, animal.. but guru drona couldn't hear all bcoz lord krishna blow the sankh.. so it was not wrong at all.. it was just a clever move.. wrong was that what kauravs did to kill abhimanyu.. and remember god is there where is dharm.

@ankitsonthalia007 : Here wrong is that Drona was killed by Drupada's son Dhristadyumna when Drona's Soul went to heaven in search of Ashwattham's soul but Arjun wanted to capture Drona alive. This is wrong in this context.

dude he was lamenting his son's death........and was in sheer grief,pain........and had no desire left in him to fight as there's no point to fight once ur own son is killed.......and meditating meant tht he has quit his will to fight

I agree with madmax797 - others before him had lost their sons, fathers, brothers etc but continued fighting. This loser hears about his son's death and gives up? I have no sympathy for him, nor do I agree with those who believe he was unfairly killed. If he couldn't stomach his son's death, he should have disallowed him from participating in the first place.

He wasn't lamenting! He was using his meditation powers to find out what happened. Thats why his head needed to be chopped before he realised and picked up his unstoppable arms.

I doubt it. While he might have disbelieved anybody else (like Bhima), he thought that Yudhisthir wasn't going to lie to him, which is why once he was told by Yudhisthir of Ashwatthama's death, he gave up his arms. He then DID meditate, but that to give up his life, and his REAL passing away was observed only by Krishna, Arjun, Yudhisthir, Kripa and Sanjaya. So even if Dhrishtadyumna hadn't beheaded him, it was still over. That's why it was really YUDHISTHIR, not Dhristadyumna who killed him
