I just saw it in 3-D! Stunning visually- vapid and predictable storywise. The amusement ride aspect of 3D makes it fun even though- it's Custer's last stand in space. I agree with MrHollick.

Actually, I have no desire to see this movie. Too much hype...some of the best movies I have ever seen - I had never even heard of them until I caught the on TV. EX: Right, I can't think of the name but it had Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. Reeves traveled bad in time to find her ...know the name?

You said they could have cut an hour of the film, thats exactly what they should not do, in fact in order to give us more info on the caracters they sould have made it half an hour longer.

I usually think 3D is a gimmick, but it totally organically enhances this film - even the story. We went to IMAX 3D, which was sweet!

I definitely hear what you're saying, I didn't think the story was much to shake a stick at either. What really did it for me was the fact that I DID get really into the story because of the performances from the creatures that were created BRILLIANTLY, and of course the amazing world of Pandora!

I disagree...Yes the story line was predictable, and had many forced cliches, but the beauty of the animation and created world were such eye candy...I was wishing for more! I'd say see it in the theater!! I give it two thumbs up, and maybe a couple pinkies down for being predictable cliche ;-)

In my book with 500 million dollar budgets for movies these days "Special" effects really arent so special anymore, they just common place now, with a big feeling of so what. I would like to see some of those millions instead of going to CGI and Media blitz marketing going to writers and a decent script...

Wow...I wasn't trying to start a debate over salaries and what's important in the world or not...I was reacting to the movie. Which for me was awesome! If you want it to be a discussion on the values and principles of the industry of movie making...Perhaps you should have titled you video something different, or stated so.
