I come from Sweden myself, like u mentioned in youre video sweden has alot of albinos, and it's very accepted here i don't get how my people can't just understand its genetic and not a curse of some sort.

@TheCccrrraaazzzyyy do a punnet square. albinism is a recessive gene, so if a person with albinism has a child with someone without it, their child will be normal if their other parent doesn't carry the gene. But the other parent can have the albino recessive gene, in which case it's a 50% chance, and if the other parent is an albino as well, it's 100% positive that you will be an albino.

But generally again, Europe has quite diverse cultures so I'd presume somewhere (less educated masses) you'd have people believing fairy tales, whereas in the western, more educated part, it wouldn't be like that.

@piromaniac9999 you are slightly misinformed. Michael Jackson suffered from vitiligo which indeed is a skin related disorder but it isn't linked to albinism at all. Furthermore, he did not "get" his skin permanently "changed to white", he had a rare form of vitiligo seeing as how it is unusual to be completely transformed from the "patchy" appearance. Oh and in case you were wondering, vitiligo doesn't really mean lack of melanin but you're right it is a loss of pigment. Thanks for the comment!

@koalafarts33 well how would you know you're not albino if you lack pigmentation? Granted you may not be lacking melanin in your skin but you may be lacking melanin in your eyes. If that's so, you would then have ocular albinism, you just don't look like me. Make sense?

@Ingamells17 I am a black albino, however I don't put forth such an emphasis on race. I look at myself as an individual with value beyond colors, and ethnicities. No offense taken I assure you, thanks for asking your question.

@954754 As I understand it, all albinos are born with a nystagmus. I also have a lazy eye which doesn't help matters lol.

@adidar666 seeing as how I'm not very big on "souls", I can't say either way. Just like with everyone else, there are arguments that support/object to a human having a soul. As far as religion goes, albinos are free to practice whatever religion they like, just like everyone else. We're no different in the regard. Thanks for checking out the video.

He had black skin and white spots like a cow.
He got his skin perma changed to white.

@piromaniac9999 you are slightly misinformed. Michael Jackson suffered from vitiligo which indeed is a skin related disorder but it isn't linked to albinism at all. Furthermore, he did not "get" his skin permanently "changed to white", he had a rare form of vitiligo seeing as how it is unusual to be completely transformed from the "patchy" appearance. Oh and in case you were wondering, vitiligo doesn't really mean lack of melanin but you're right it is a loss of pigment. Thanks for the comment!
