Hi , i am suffering of cluster headache for 5 years now, i have not had the attack since a year and now a gain i am getting the same pain a gain, today i went to Walgreens and i asked the pharmacist a bout any new medication and she told me about what is called Sumeval Dosepro injection it is awseome medication you guys should try it the only problem is that it is so expensive i bought two refils for $647 which is 6 injections. i hope president Obama's plan gonna help us
I couldnt agree more....the pain experienced from cluster headaches is not even close to a migraine type headache.....it is very easy to become emotional about these headaches....when you anticipate the onset of one of these headaches every day for months at a time it begins to take over your life. This is the first time I have gone on line to see other sufferers and it is somewhat relieving to see that I am not making up this pain as many seem to think I am doing!
I do not mean to belittle migraine pain, but the pain endured during cluster attacks is simply off the charts. For many years,as you probably know, they were simply dubbed "Suicide Headaches" by many in the medical profession for obvious reasons. Forgive me if I insist on Cluster Headache not being associated with migraine.

Doctor. It sounds like the level of pain you describe in this man is in fact that of a Cluster Headache. The worst pain known to man. Very distinct. I know. Yet, you repeatedly refer to them as migraine. Why?
In my opinion it is immensely important that when a person is diagnosed with Cluster Headache,that the physician know immediately that they are dealing with a person who is in a DANGEROUS amount of pain,and that the condition not be confused with migraine.Which is simply a headache.

I should also add that I am aware of certain "triggers" such as alcohol, smoking, strong smells perfume, petrol etc...
But for these to be classed as an allergy seems wrong to me....

This is ridiculous.
The last time I checked, Clusters were not the effect of having an allergy to something.
Shameless self promotion in order to make a financial gain seems to be the main motivation for this clip.
Considering the horrific pain myself and others go through I think this is obscene.
If I am wrong and you can cure my Clusters then feel free to reply.
