how can you throw that fair and straight i'm new and i can throw fifty feet and then it goes sideways like 20 ft.

There are a couple of factors.
1. How new you are to the disc golf scene. A new player typically throws a disc like a frisbee with a hyzer (on it's side).
2. The type of disc you are throwing. Stable, overstable, and understable.
3. The amount of spin you can put on a disc.
This should get you started as long as you practice.
