My brother-in-law was 21 when he started teaching high school and he said that some of the older female students were just merciless about the, almost non existent, age difference. In fact, in watching this program he says that a lot of what they show of the "chat logs" sounds a lot like some of the emails that he would get from students.

@celltechlars We do not accept anything from the books of fiqh (jurisprudence), nor from the books of tafseer (explanation of the Quraan), nor from the ancient stories, nor from the Seerah (biography) books like the tabari you claim to have read, Al-waaqidi,Ibn Sa'd etc of the Prophet, except that which has been confirmed/authenticated to be from Allaah or from His Messenger(saww). We do not mean that we have rejected them, nor do we claim that we are not in need of them.......

We could say that Islamic doctrine is leaning towards "Arabi" nationalism, which it arguably does. In this way we see that Islam DOES support one nationalism. I think they were rather dedicated, the way You like to see Yourself, to getting it right, and keeping falsities out. These are a few amongst a great many classical writers, thinkers and jurists. In the end we have to decide for ourselves anyhow, who and what we believe to be authentic.
