UPS 747 Plane Crash News Update

I first suspected it was something in the cargo te 747 had no failure or they would have reported it. They reported smoke in the cockpit some cargo was burning. How sad. The pilots did they best they could they didn't save them selves but to now they tried is good airmanship hats off to them

Guys, hate to spoil the common airbus/boeing debate, but the cause of the crash was not mechanical failure. What brought the plane down was lithium batteries that were not on the cargo manifest. The suspected package was dropped 5 ft off a truck before being loaded. This started the fire that set of the fire alarm in the cockpit. The crew tried to turn back, but were running out of oxygen and smoke was obscuring their view. The captain left while the f/o tried but failed to land. Both died.
