  • So today i recieved my shocks for my traxxas jato 3.3... they were about 40 dollar shocks.. not too expensive but pretty nice in my opinion. but when i installed them.. since the jato is really back heavey when i drop it to see the over all ride height it bounces alittle. so i took off the rear shock caps to fill them with heavier oil weight. so i fill em and screw the cap back on and feel the shock much stiffer and i was happy. but then did a drop test and the bladder in the cap popped.....

  • what is the best shock oil and spring for slash 4x4? (i like on-road and jumping)

  • i use water haha

  • is silicone damper oil shock oil

  • where do you get your shock oil? i can only ever find 20wt

  • wat shock oil do u recommend

  • hi, great vid, verry informative! but i have a question.

how do i know what oil is best for my shocks. i only use my car in the garden and aereas like that but do do some jups and thrash it around allot?

  • wow... nice vide

i have one question about the viscosity

some oil its doesnt say 50W or 30W, its show numbers like #300, #600

so how can i know what the similar viscosity on this 2 differente measure?

  • @fabiodacunha They're two completely different rating scales and unfortunately there's no direct formula to convert between them as the "wt" scale is scientifically incorrect and non-linear, whereas the other scale is a proper, actual measure of viscosity. For comparisons search Google for "Silicone shock and differential oil and more" and you'll find a very detailed explanation.

  • what shock oil viscosity tou recomend me for good cornering at racing with my rustler vxl??

  • @kabe628 i recomend going for a thicker for racing to get the great cornering

  • What wheels and tires did you use on the stampede??

  • The wheels are RPM Revolvers. The tires are some very, very old MRC MT10!

  • Next up is Part 3: Spring Preload. Be sure to check it out!
