yea it's very much. And you don't actually buy the books. Just lease the books. If you read the terms it's pretty scary. You have very limited rights to use the books. They use DRM to protect the books. They can delete any book if they want or switch off the TTS functionality on some books without explaining or alerting you. It is scary and reminds me of the book 1984...

totally i envy them as well. this technology could be just disposable cheap as during their time. Imagine throwing e-ink newspapers in the trash bin after you read it just like when you throw tradititional newspapers today.
