Jacobspinney, this guy's been bugging Shanedk recently, and he doesn't have a whole lot of time to respond. Would you mind addressing him. He's claiming that there was no inflationary bubble before the depression and that the 1920s were deflationary.
All committed statist are masochists, becausse if they weren't, they wouldn't spend time on the Internet being such devout shills for a coercive monopoly. It's unfortunate that they are also sadists as well.
I tool a look at dsglop's video. I made a comment but it's pending approval.
It was something along the lines of...
"There are definitely no absolutes; maybe"
I actually think that his video had some merit in that I think it rightly(?) highlighted the black and white view of some anarchists/libertarians. However, the irony that he made an absolutist argument against absolutism was lost on him.
It's not a bad thing for those of us who believe in non-aggression to remember that we may be wrong.
My thoughts exactly. I would have added, however, that the State and politicians follow their own self-interests as well. Their incentive is reelection, not the "public interest". The government will only provide decent service if it is paramount to their reelection, even then, they have an incentive to "cut corners" and make it "look like" their doing something useful, when in fact they are not.
I don't understand you oppose govt research on replacing carbon in the economy, (alternate fuels). But you then seemed to propose exactly that via private means.
I think that section around "because because because" needs clarification for me at least.
@adolthitler spending money on reducing carbon emission is extremely costly for little actual effect. What I propose is (private) research and development into geo-engineering methods of reversing temperature which would be IMMENSELY cheaper.
Does he not see the irony of using a product available for free under capitalism, to attempt to refute capitalism and that it only cares about the bottom line?

You should do a video explaining to your subscribers why you believe in CO2-driven climate change.

Neat.
I like how the "person" making the flimsy argument is wearing flimsy cardboard.
Xtranormal's text-to-speech has gotten much better.

@fegolem Yes, and their cardboard head has "fragile" stamped on it.
