  • that is the best sound ever, i gotta save up for a 44 or 40 series

  • Is this a kit u can buy or a custom exhaust?

Got a 93 i wanna freshen up with a nice rumble

  • @Skip01 This is all custom , bu very easy to make up .... any good muffler shop can do this ..... except for the tips , I lucked out on those .... the came off a late 90s Firebird

  • @mattmc8391 You have headers as well or just exhaust? So its 3" coming off the cat, than splits too 2.25 on both sides?

Id really rather do one with clamps and pieces i can get from JEGs or something, ill have a look

  • Got the same engine too. I'm thinking about Cherry Bomb turbo mufflers. I heard they have better flow than the Flowmasters.

  • i have the same engine in my 95 tahoe 4x4, and i have a super 44 to put on it..

Should i gut the cat? or will it be obnoxiously loud?

  • @joeymdorsey52185 I would'nt screw with the cat on a 95 .. The O2 sensor is in close proximity .. on 95 + I think it will mess with the way it runs ...

  • @mattmc8391 yeah with all the computers now days guttin the cat will do more harm than good

  • @mattmc8391 LOL and if you mess the o2 sensor up you have 2 choices.. either take the whole engine out or remove the transmission and exhaust system..

  • @mattmc8391 I have a 95 and took my cat completely out and ran complete straights and it never messed with the performance of it.

  • @brwhit2 did it have a o2 sensor?

  • @mattmc8391 Easy as pie to relocate the O2 sensor, though, correct?

  • @mattmc8391 now, just make the Check Engine light come on. Buy an anti fouler plug and wed it to the pipe, then screw the o2 sensor into that.

  • @247Countryboy1 Weld*

  • @joeymdorsey52185 get rid of the cat no one will know its off to begin with

  • @joeymdorsey52185 nah thats bs dude ive gotta 95 silverado 2wd with the 350 and i got flowmaster 40s on it and i gutted the cat on it and the check engine light didnt come on and it still runs like it did before i gutted the catt just a little faster and more peepy and its not obnoxiously loud at all the o2 sensors before the cat so its not gona mess anything up

  • @90z28 Thanks man, i've been doing some research about it,but was still undecided i,m gonna do it..lol i like it loud anyway. BTW you know that chevy only rates that engine, which is known as the L05 block TBI 5.7 at 210 hp? I think thats bs my truck will bark all 4 tires in 4 hi (or all 3..lol fuckin limited slip...) from a dead stop. i think it takes a little more than 210 hp to do that. Anyway thanks for the info man

  • @joeymdorsey52185 Torque is what barks tires , not hp .... and The L05 has plenty of torque from the factory .... Torque gets you moving off the line .... HP is what moves you once you are at speed

  • i was wondering if u still have the cat on the truck in this video? im looking to put this on my my 94 blazer 350 tbi is ur truck loud enough to be noticed as ur driving by?

  • @tbourdo144 Yes , I have an aftermarket free flow cat .... It is definately noticable ..

  • hey i was wondering if u still have the cat on this? cause im looking to get the super 44 single in dual out on my 94 fullsize blazer and i loveee the sound of this truck is it loud enough to be noticed as ur driving by?

  • Cats?

  • @ozzyvanhalenrox Single freeflow 3 inch

  • i just put one on my 2002 chevy Avalanch but i put the 40 series...is the super 44 alot louder then the 40 series ...?????...and does it sound better then 40 series??

  • @jiujitsukid41 The 40 should be louder than the 44

  • @jiujitsukid41 the super 44 sounds excellent but u gotta have some horsepower i dont think it was made for your avelanch lol

  • @jiujitsukid41 no it is louder i think they are about the same but flowmaster does say that the 44 is the most aggressive and deepest 4in muffler they make you can check out my videos of my 44 it is loud

  • sounds good

  • thats a nice looking truck. keep her sweet

  • @DualsMeatChevy94 Always... when it's not driven , it stays in a garage ... Ive got too much tied up in it to drive it to work every day .... it's a cruiser

  • Man your neighbors suck! I have a 92 yukon with headers, 3' exhaust to dual flowmaster 40's then out and over the end, no cats for me eithor. I tell you what, when I drive around I piss off people and the cops, they follow me sometimes. lol sounds great though!

  • Cats or no cats? im running dual cherry bomb extremes with no cats to quad 5" tips and im thinking of changing to these.. one of my annoying ass neighbors keeps calling the cops... sounds great though

  • i would give your neighbor a yard job lol

  • dont worry dude, i have a 95 with cherry bombs and my neighbors call the cops everytime i start the truck....fucking hate them.

  • man your neighbors are fucking gay

  • its not gonna be much quieter, will just make it sound like a car not a 2stroke motorcycle

  • i love the sound!

  • i saw you said your from Alabama... so am i. What part of Bama are you from??

  • i cant believe you have a 91 chevy with no rust above the wheel haha

  • I am in the deeeep south ....

  • @rudd04 i have a 90 chevy with no rust on it factory rims everything buying it tomorrow gotta go get a loan on it in the morning and u wanna talk about beautiful paints shit but the built 350 speaks for it self hopefully ill have some videos up of it soon

  • sounds good.. 5 star chevy power

  • awesome chevy and honda ftw ;)

  • dude, come check my super 44's out! it sounds nothing like yours lol

  • Does the converter still let you pass aircare? And how much was the converter? I have a 91 chevy with super 44's but it isnt that loud because i still have the stock cat. I like this sound tho.

  • If your talking about a smog test , we don't have those in Alabama . The converter is a aftermarket replacement , instead of the big flat pancake type like yours , this a smaller , better flowing monolithic honeycomb type . I paid somewhere around $100.00 for it . I believe any muffler shop you go in , and you say , " I need a new converter " , they should put one on like mine .

  • Yeah

  • you still have your cat don't you?

  • Thanks , they are of a late 90s pontiac trans am

  • like the tips man

  • Its a 3 in inlet , but its a 2 1/4 DUAL outlet , not a single outlet , and it has a free flow converter .

  • Hey man what is the point of doing 3'' inlet to 2 1/4 outlet sounds really good by the way are the cats off?

  • No.. its a ext cab swb

  • Is that thing reg cab short box?
