Thank you for the courage of preaching the WHOLE council of God. As a pastor and human being, sensitive topics are difficult to bring to your congregation . . . but your love and obedience is much more important; furthermore, in the long run, it is also the love for your congregation that compels you to do so also for their soul's joy and freedom from sin. I wish I had your council when I was growing up, cause the fear and shame of asking was my lot as a child and youth. Preach the Word.

One thing I found difficult was the lack of power to have victory in my life . . . but when I did gain victory was when I realized the power is given when we WILL to do right and forsake sin; then God gives the power to fulfill our commitment and choice . . . it all still comes down to choice, and we always have a choice whether easy or hard -- it's there without crutches and excuses. God never forces a decision or our choice; He gives the power when we are willing to forsake pet sins.

I just started going to college about 4 weeks ago, and as I'm sure you know, it's Hell out there J.D. I spend a lot of time with my cousins, and I feel our paths drifting apart with increasing speed. All they do is occupy themselves with mindless sex, and drinking far too much than what's right. I've been praying for my own personal strength, and your videos have helped me a lot. I am maturing very quickly, spiritually. And whenever I fall or slip, I always find myself watching your videos.
