@toonguykc You've been brainwashed by the media to think he's an idiot. Military-industrial complex had 8 year plan with him for their purposes, so they had to keep him. Idiot president - OK. President with presenile dementia - NO WAY (he would have to resign). That's why they were hiding it so well. They were selling us "stupid" story, we all laughed and bought it.
This video is asinine. I'm a lefty (AND a healthcare professional) and I can see that the man was likely just having some nervous issues, NOT senile dementia.
You should go to medical school before you start making medical assumptions. Joe Biden says a lot of stupid things off the cuff too, does that make him demented?
@nathanj37 Yeah this is bollocks. I agree with you. Although later on he was too consistently "stupid" for it to be nerves. I just think the stress of the job started getting to him over the years. That and not only was he never any good at public speaking but he never thought it important so maybe as his workload became larger he spent less and less time on preparing for speeches and debates. In speeches he's done since Obama replaced him he's been more eloquent.
Dr. Price states that there is only one diagnosis for this problem. This proves that Dr. Price is not a competent physician. George Bush has Lyme disease. Those of us who suffer w/ Lyme and who know what this disease does can clearly see this. Dr. Price needs to go back to school and learn about more diseases than pre-senile dementia crap. Dr. Price needs to acknowledge that there is a treatment for what Bush suffers from. The denial in the mainstream medical field is an abomination.
I don't think any President is 'in charge' - the big corps and others really run the world and it really makes no difference whether the Dems or Reps are in 'power' - it's obvious that the promises any candidate makes cannot be kept - not because the winner isn't willing - but because they aren't 'allowed' to change much.
@msaasha Yeah, I don't think it can be denied. He just appears to be oblivious to the words he's saying. And who knows why? However, think the consensus is that he's never been that good with public speaking anyway. As well as the possibility that as president he was forced into saying things he didn't believe. Making him one of the most transparent presidents that ever was. I mean, you always knew when he didn't care, or wasn't comfortable, or was probably lying as he spoke.
I suspect it's just the Lyme ... it does mess up your speech ... you forget what you were talking about and very often the word you meant to put at the end of a sentence.
Yeah. It's called LYME BRAIN. Lyme Disease causes Alzheimer's in a vast majority of cases. Borrelia = the "Great Imitator". Do some research for yourself.

I just read (7/12/09) that W is definitely showing signs of dementia now, back in Texas. As far as I'm concerned, he was born with it. He was THE WORST PRESIDENT WE'VE HAD....SECOND TO NONE. NUMBER 2 WAS REAGAN...HIS PROBABLE PARTNER IN DEMENTIA. W has ruined and killed THOUSANDS of lives...between his illegal war, resulting in thousands of wasted American and innocent Iraqi lives, and his FAILED, FAILED, FAILED deregulation and economic policies. No...his NEGLECTFUL/NON-economic policies.
The thing is, if he has dementia, we probably had president Cheyney not president Bush. you have to feel sorry. no one deserves dementia. part of the problem with his presidency was the dementia. he can't help that...
No, I don't feel sorry for W. I hope he is confined to a wheelchair, and becomes a quadraplegic...SOON. He ruined my life, and so many others..with his illegal start of three wars, and COMPLETE disregard for the middle class' economic plight....long before the actual meltdown back in September. His economy was awful from March 2001 on. He was a religious, fear-mongoring zealot son of a bitch who deserves nothing but personal misery and disaster for the rest of his days.

His job growth rate and GDP rate were absolutely nothing special...completely in the middle of the pack, yet he ran up huge deficits at the time. He ran our economy on a CREDIT CARD.
@pmitsos Reagan was the worst president ever?? You might need a history lesson. I'm not a Reagan lover, but he inherited a terrible situation from Carter in 1981 with massive inflation and a very unstable economy. All things considered, he did a decent job as he didn't get bogged down in any wars and the economy was good for the most part in the 80's. His huge military spending was definitely a negative, but as much as he spent, it wasn't even close to what obama has spent in less than 2 years.

I think that he was used as a scapegoat, and harshly criticized, yes, but it is an EXTREME overstatement to say that he will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents. That's just being naive.
First of all, you are no doubt a Republican from the way you have just annhilated the English language. Were you even born in this country? Your writing is beyond atrocious.
Secondly, to compare W. Bush to Truman is a complete disgrace to the great president that Harry S. Truman was.
Please, go back to third grade and learn how to write English.
I agree with your statement. I don't consider myself a Bush supporter but I don't believe for one minute that he was as bad as the left made him out to be. If this dementia thing is true then it seems that Bush had a good excuse for fumbling. Barack "free fall" Obama has no excuse.
Recall the history of GW Bush in his road to the governorship of Texas. He lost the first time, and realized it was due to a failure to come across to Texans as one of them. He changed his image into a more down-home drinking rootin tootin type of guy and lost any hint of his Yale/Harvard swagger.
This video ignores one very obvious possibility: that it was an act, in the same way that Winston Churchill walked around with a cigar in his mouth and a glass of hard liquor in his hand.
Aging and the massive pressure of being the President are the most likely reasons, look at other former president's at the beginning and end of thier terms, many seem slower, less articulate, but on you tube everything is a conspiracy or a coverup. It's called aging, you too will experience it's effect.
I think part of the difference is that he was most likely telling the truth about something he knew and was passionate about when in Texas. At the White House...not so much.
This is absolutely the result of his having been infected with Lyme Disease. Most of today's physicians are clueless on diagnosing it, and think that you have to have the "bullseye rash" aka the e. migrans rash in order to have been infected. That has been proven not to be the case time and time again.
A bunch of cranks have suggested very loudly that lyme can progress to neuro-borrelliosis and "chronic lyme disease" even when the disease has successfully been treated and no trace of the bacterium is found. The evicence for this is non-existent.
"Cure Unknown" June 08 explains the mechanism of Lyme in Alzheimer's. Very well may BE Alzheimer's.. which actually is Neuro-Borrelliosis. Something about the neurons having cystic Borrellia in their core. A MUST read... if you haven't already.
This video proves absolutely nothing. I know from my own personal experience that the difference between my best day and my worst day is enormous. Also, I've heard others, such as Clinton, speak well and horribly on different occasions.
Everybody has a bad day, absolutely. George Bush as -many- bad days. Very many bad days.
Clinton may have missed a speech here and there, but the one he delivered at the Democratic Convention was the kind of speech he has built a reputation for.
George Bush can't do that anymore.
If it's a pathology I genuinely feel for him, but it also means he should step down. If you have Alzheimer's you shouldn't be driving the big desk. You need a lot of love and great care. You don't need -that- job.
The speech Clinton delivered at the 1988 convention was infamous for being long and rambling.... I haven't seen enough clips of Bush to respond to what you're saying.
I alway sthought it is more like post trumatic stress. Only Lincoln and FDR had to go through worse as a president in our entire 219 years as a nation. That's his excuse. Now it looks like we get pure incompetetence with Hussein.
George Bush was never one of my favourite people, but I do feel a bit sorry for him. I'm not a doctor, but I can see the decline in his ability to debate and to know what he's talking about - its like he forgets what he's talking about half-way through a sentence. Maybe is is the pressure of being the president - I'm off to look for similar videos with other world leaders like Tony Blair and see how they compare.
President Bush has Lyme disease. Don't know for sure if this is causing his problem but it very well could be. I have Lyme disease and am active in a local Lyme association. The effects of Lyme are devastating and if it is in your brain any type of neurological problem can manifest. I know because there are days when I am extremely forgetful and trying to concentrate is impossible.
Magnetrition, like nutrition, a collection of learned responses to poor or inadequate health conditions due to a deficiency of biological requirements Osteoporosis menopause and cancer are the result of inadequate movement in a magnetic field, and recognize as a symptom of inadequate circulation within the cells of our body, which occurs due to the immobility of magnetically migrating organelles Observed as poor health and even death in the bird egg, infant, average person of 70, and astronaut.
none of us can understand the pressures of being president look at the aging pictures of presidents I can never blame bush, he's a puppet He was the choice candidate for republicans because they knew he wouldnt stand up to their machine Cheney for christs sake look at cheney The guy was a freakin ceo of an oil tech company Hes been the puppeteer i empathize with bush out of compassion Imagine being offered the title of president Make the bush name a legacy all you gotta do is keep quiet and obey
That is not the point here. He was an excellent speaker years ago. Now he really looks like an ancient man talking. I have not seen this before. It is amazing that the US System allows people to stay president when they decline like that.
Bush' brain is permanently injured by alcoholic poisoning crumbling under the pressure of the responsibility, Bush can't put 2 phrases together to make a sentence, let alone be POTUS.
Bush's Legacy? 4000 dead GI's, 25000 wounded, $1/2T wasted, $1/2T to go just to get the hell out. A ruined economy.
As China and India put pressure on the worlds supply of oil, this dork declares war on the suppliers of oil. How those Texas Oklahoma profits going there George?

Gas had gone up 50% in the first seven years under President Bush. Since the Democrats have taken over Congress in Jan 07, gasoline has gone up 50% in just over one year.
Food prices have gone up 40% since the Democrats regained control of Congress. (Jan 07' - May 08')
increase production of alternative fuels, and rescind the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks, and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies." - Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi April 19, 2006
Price of gas December 2006: $2.34 p/gallon Today: $3.71
"Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices, taking America in a new direction that works for everyone, not just the few. Our plan would empower the Federal Trade Commission to crack down on price gouging to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices,
You can see that 10 years ago Bush is reading from a prompter, he never takes his eyes away from it. However I've noticed the difference too. Maybe he's doped up, I'll bet he has to be to live with himself. and all those years he did cocaine probably ate up his brain. Excellent video!
I've noticed that in Obama too, but I think it's partially intentional, as he has been accused of being too eloquent a speaker and not having any substance. So it could be to counteract those accusations. And I think he's just in awe of his success too so far. But he's got just the substance I'm looking for in a candidate - integrity.
Anybody who has Lyme disease understands what's happening to mr. Bush. Why wo'nt they tell us what treatment mr. Bush recieved for Lyme? I bet they did'nt give him doxycycline for 20 days, and tell him he was "cured".
Maybe his past of drugs and alcohol has finally caught up with him. I don't like him but no one deserves losing their faculties. I hope you're wrong harvesteroftruth2

bullshit. he is just older, and tired, very tired, of course. in the first video he DID want to be there. in the second one, it was a fuckin botherin obligation. it's easy when y're a candidate and pretend to be a brilliant person, you assure the beautiful future... but after 10 years, being a governor, a presidente of a big nation..it seems like 30 yrs foranybody. he is really tired to bear that dexterous man of past. that was just an constructed image, not an actual genius. dont you think?

That too. Probably been maniuplated with drugs as I believe Reagan was, I saw the same symptoms in Reagan long before he left office, and I think they kept his Alzheimer's a secrety for obvious reasons until he left office.

Bush isnt bad! he sent us to fuckin war to protect us If we drop out were in a world of hurt those muslims will stay off our shores if we keep over there!
yeah right. first it was the nazis then russians and now the muslims . dude, stop generalizing everything . you are not right and muslims are not all bad . there are many people not like you so live with it you paranoid piece o shit !
Yeah, that is why they declared war on the Western world. Get out from under your rock! Yes, muslims aren't bad, but the ones beheading people and bombing innocent people are. Get a clue, better yet, get a sense of reality. Were you born yesterday?
Well that's okay I suppose if you want to throw away America in the process, which is exactly what's being done and I'm not certain we can even recover at this point. Bush hates America, he proves it all the time.
HAHAHA fuck bush, karma is a bitch and if his mind is falling apart its cause hes got skeletons in his closet from all the innocent kids hes killed and all the shit hes pulled. sorry to get alot of you mad but its the truth...peace
God Bless Him.The SAME thing happen to my Dad!The disease attacked his communication skills 1st. We would laugh at him in the beggining thinking he was trying to be funny. Then it became annoying and we wondered why he was acting that way!! He had Alzheimers,we are distant cousins of Bush. Remember the person they were and try to put yourself in their shoes. Alzheimers Sucks. My Dad knew what he wanted to say.but couldnt formulate it correctly, until there was nothing
i tried watching this video and i couldn't get it to load, but honestly, i don't need to see this particular one to know that he's demented to an extent. it's my belief that georgey porgey here has dimentia associated w/ alcohol abuse. it's a condition people. look it up and respond to this message tell me what ya think.
these "george bush is stupid"videos show only part of what is wrong with this war-mongering idiot, when will the americans who vote for him get it through there thick heads that they made a serious mistake,or maybe they already know they made a mistake but are too god damn embarassed to admit it
The reason he stumbles over his words so much now is that he's up to his neck in BS and it's hard to keep all of his lies straight. He's stupid, perhaps senile and maybe he just doesn't really care about America at all any more. You try to speak passionately about something you don't really care about.
I think there's just a LITTLE bit different stress level when you're discussing viewpoints on education versus when you've barely been voted into the presidency, and you're basically immediately faced with A NATIONAL TERROR ATTACK. Good lord, why do people love to hate. F-ing haters.
George Bush has neuro-borreliosis. Late Lyme Disease. I've just been diagnosed, my wife has it and I know quite a number of others. It is obvious now and classic. Lyme can be mis-diagnosed as numerous varied auto-immune diseases. Lyme is at MINIMUM, 10 times greater an issue than HIV; greater than cancer, and probably greater a problem than heart disease. The scandal is MULTI-BILLIONS of lost productivity... and CDC ignores it.
agree with the previous statement. I dont think he is confident with his message. Nor do I think it is his. Maybe at one time he was clear conscience and what he spoke was his opinion (however dumb) now he speaks from some other place than is personal convictions and honesty.
Could be dementia, could be a consequence of drinking (maybe he's fallen off the wagon), or maybe he just doesn't believe a word of what he's saying. Think about it . . . anyone can articulate something they feel strongly about, but he stumbles over everything. Maybe he doesn't believe a word he's saying!
I think he may have post coke/hard alcohol/RX drug blowback, which is the unforeseen consequences of being an addict for many years and then just getting older. It's proper name is Crackmentia.
lymesick, just got 11 of 14 bands of positive IgM, as yet untreated. My wife has Neuro-borreliosis, my son + babesia and likely + borreliosis. In my mind not an ounce of doubt Bush has Neuro-Borreliosis. Could possibly be the biggest health care problem in America. At bare Minimum 10 times greater than HIV. Some think up to 150 million Americans affected.
He was treated for Lyme disease. Lyme disease causes difficulty with cognitive functioning and verbal fluency. learn about Lyme at lymediseaseassociation dot org
Hid docs think a few weeks of antibiotics was enough but the bacteria loves the brain and is reistant to treatment. The poor man has no idea.
Some of the best LLMDs believe up to 80% of the population are infected. Just some have no idea because it doesn't ALWAYS give symptoms or sometimes gives very few (sometimes hides out in your system for years before wreaking havoc).
I was bit when I was around 14 years old. Didn't give VERY ill until 10 years later.
So at one point he was actually somewhat sharp? go figure. was it because he found Jesus? give him some booze and cocaine and he'll be back to his old self.
Go to youtube . com and backslash this: watch?v=4k9-FJpt8GQ.
It wouldn't let me post the link entirely so I had to break it up. It looks pretty funny really. But anyway start watching at 4:13 and go until 5:40. HAAH. It is absolutely hysterical.
it goes without saying that you can make a video like this using selected clips for any politician in the world, but it does raise a very good point: george bush is thunderingly inarticulate.
This video is stupid. I can't stand W, but if you've ever watched a Texas governor's debate, there are essentially 5 issues open to debate, and each candidate memorizes his/her pre-written diatribes, no rebuttals, etc. As President, there is only so much a speech writer/debate coach can help out a person that while still in his "prime" referred to juveniles as "fourteen year olders"...
well, it happened to ronald reagan and charlton heston... maybe it's simply how the brain reacts when it's been persuaded to deny the big truth for a long time? take one lying scumbag, add some MSG and there you have it.
Forget the alzheimers... did you notice the horrible things he was saying in the second clip of him 10 years ago? Try 14 yr olds as adults, etc. He may have gotten slower and more confused, but he obviously has never had a heart or an ounce of compassion.
Or maybe just an idiot.

This is absolutely the result of his having been infected with Lyme Disease. Most of today's physicians are clueless on diagnosing it, and think that you have to have the "bullseye rash" aka the e. migrans rash in order to have been infected. That has been proven not to be the case time and time again.
Wake up, physicians of America.

There's not a shread of convincing evidence that there even exists such a thing as chronic lyme disease.

They've proven it exists, its just not proven whether or not it causes mental degradation. Does anyone think before they post?
CH33353 3 years ago
"They've proven it exists..."
No, they haven't.
A bunch of cranks have suggested very loudly that lyme can progress to neuro-borrelliosis and "chronic lyme disease" even when the disease has successfully been treated and no trace of the bacterium is found. The evicence for this is non-existent.
soylentgreenb 3 years ago
It is known that he has Lyme disease. For those of us who suffer, we know the stress of word finding, fatigue and pain.
This man has been ill for a while. This video shows he really is intelligent.
It's not Alzheimers...it's Lyme. And it's the fastest growing infectious disease that will surpass AIDS.
If this doesn't bring attention to the problem, I don't know what will.
The downfall of our nation will happen when everyone is affected and cannot do our jobs.

This video proves absolutely nothing. I know from my own personal experience that the difference between my best day and my worst day is enormous. Also, I've heard others, such as Clinton, speak well and horribly on different occasions.
7beers 3 years ago
Everybody has a bad day, absolutely. George Bush as -many- bad days. Very many bad days.
Clinton may have missed a speech here and there, but the one he delivered at the Democratic Convention was the kind of speech he has built a reputation for.
George Bush can't do that anymore.
If it's a pathology I genuinely feel for him, but it also means he should step down. If you have Alzheimer's you shouldn't be driving the big desk. You need a lot of love and great care. You don't need -that- job.
wowthungsten 3 years ago
The speech Clinton delivered at the 1988 convention was infamous for being long and rambling.... I haven't seen enough clips of Bush to respond to what you're saying.
7beers 3 years ago
Ok, so I should have said: the Democratic convention of this election cycle. My bad.
I'd say he's gotten considerably better since that time while George Bush has gotten considerably worse since he got his seat from the supreme court.
On a good day George Bush is no match for a Bill Clinton. If Clinton took on Bush today it would be considered bullying.
wowthungsten 3 years ago
Maybe my bad. Maybe most people would have assumed you meant a few weeks ago instead of 20 years ago!!

George Bush was never one of my favourite people, but I do feel a bit sorry for him. I'm not a doctor, but I can see the decline in his ability to debate and to know what he's talking about - its like he forgets what he's talking about half-way through a sentence. Maybe is is the pressure of being the president - I'm off to look for similar videos with other world leaders like Tony Blair and see how they compare.
firfuxsake 3 years ago
President Bush has Lyme disease. Don't know for sure if this is causing his problem but it very well could be. I have Lyme disease and am active in a local Lyme association. The effects of Lyme are devastating and if it is in your brain any type of neurological problem can manifest. I know because there are days when I am extremely forgetful and trying to concentrate is impossible.
