  • OMG! I watched Cap'n Tugg and Countdown Carnival religiously as a kid. I can't believe that any footage has survived.

  • Your guess was close. The opening color graphics (created by Lee Reynolds himself) were done on a Commodore 64. Neither those graphics nor the theme music were part of the original 1963 production.

  • An excellent look at some of the best kid show hosts in DC, great memories for those who grew up watching these guys as I did!
