  • @americanbadass911 uhhhh, muscle breakdown is EXACTLY what therye goin for, buddy! that breakdown and subsequent repair IS muscle growth...they just dont sprint cause theyre slow and muscle bound, usually. clearly levrone is an exception...

  • @sokseb olympic lifters is actually quite fast even if the dont train for sprinting anyways.. its worse for bodybuilders cause they dont have the same "exploding" strenght in their legs as the olympic lifters

  • When will people learn that most of the fastest people on earth also tend to have the greatest size to strength ratio? If you're 6'0 250 lbs and can squat 750 and dead 750 you're going to be much faster than a guy who is 6'0 200 who can squat 400 and dead 400, assuming they have the same level of sprint training.

  • @gymboy99 why is that impressive? he may weiht 80lb more but he can legpress twice the weight than chambers. and actually still levorne lost by nearly a second i would say. the point is: bodybuilders arent bad sprinters. they are bad distance runners. if dwain had taken the same amount of drugs in his training than kevin levorne he would run 6 secs flat

TRUST ME if you carried the same mass as kevin here you would probably run the same distance in about 12 seconds. Its easy to sit there at 150lbs and have the opinion you have but it is not educated. And if you really think 'drugs' would make that much difference to a sprinter your an idiot.

  • @gymboy99 i weigh 210 and run 60meters in 7.1 for 60! the problem is to hold the balance and all that stuff your right with that. but once you get a perfect run you can be pretty fast on 60 meters. the short sprints are only about strengh and fast twitch. kevin levrone has a better strengh than all those 9.8 runners in the world. quickness he is not as good as chambers obviously and speed endurance. yes he is quick for his weight! but not more than that.

  • @MrBusunglueck First, Chambers is a world class sprinter.A non-competitive runner to finishing that closely to him is impressive.Second, this whole post is crazy talk.Mass decreases speed.That's 5th grade science.Car and jet designers know it,so do football coaches.Greater power can only compensate for so much because it 's distributed over more mass.That's why most guys who can do one armed pull-ups are slim 160lbers, while 260lb guys who can dead 600 can barely do 10 two handed chin ups.

  • @dieselvox still it really isnt that close. and kevin levrone is 260 lbs chambers was at the time 190 it think so just 70 shy. and you should know that the reason why guys that can dead 600 and cant do 10 chin ups beacuse they have pure white muscle and no power-endurance. they just have pure max muscles.

  • @MrBusunglueck Well, it is pretty close, but... 70 lbs is a MASSIVE difference! MASSIVE! Made all the more dramatic by the fact that Kevin is about 3 inches shorter than chambers.

    Additionally, not being able to complete 10 chin ups is not a matter of endurance. Guys like Jay Cutler can do multiple sets of dozens of reps on tbar rows but can't manage chin ups. It's not due to their muscle fiber development- it's primarily weight/ power distribution.

  • @MrBusunglueck I hate to say this, but you are making less sense with each post.As stated before, most of these guys CAN do 20 reps with heavy weights, just not on that exercise. Search videos for "one armed chins" and you will see that they all have similar bodies.That's not because they are doing endurance training-they typically only get about 3 or 4 reps in. Also, any consistent climber is toned. Muscles are 50% diet. Any climber will tell you excess weight will make it much harder to climb.

  • @panjabiwarrior Plus Roids only help them probably less than 40% they also gotta workout hard, some starve themselves in order to be what they want to be. I'm a natural BB and i only workout 2hrs a day 3times a week and let me tell you those 2hrs of lifting 100s and 100s aren't easy as you think, and these guys go for 4hrs some 6hrs...but the only thing people see in them is Roids they forget that they work their asses off too look like that.

  • @12pussylicka That's pretty cool man. Glad to see someone going the distance. I also workout at the same time period and gained alot from it. I won't believe those who said you have to workout 40 minutes, three days a week without proof. If you're fine with that, cool. But most of my gains came from working out longer with more sets than usual and alot of food to add.
