It's sad to say, but I think this was a really really bad moment where they all screwed up. I think everyone was partying and hanging out somebody filled the baby bottle in order to be cute and drink out of it. And someone put it aside to be emptied but didn't since they didn't want to waste the alcohol, and the mother in her blurred state later at night thought it was indeed water and thought nothing of it. The mother should have emptied it EVEN if she wasn't sure. She really knows that now.
