  • I'm just wondering why the pc guy is bigger/taller than the mac guy..Is there any meaning on that?

  • he doesn't sound a all like donut...

  • you can overclock macs too...

  • Why are people arguing. Macs are awesome and PC's are also awesome!

  • @rumenthebest I agree with 50%!

  • hold 6... lol

  • Thumb horizontal if you think this comment is....Meh...

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED THIS ONE!!! FKing overclocke baby!! get some more overclock! :D

  • @TAPriceCTR thumbs sideways and in your butts if you're - what are we talking about?

    ^JD3

  • @TrueNuff

donut. from RvB. why did you hasve to get gross?

  • @TAPriceCTR gross is good.

    ^JD3

  • @TAPriceCTR

caboose is better. what thumb do i give for that?

  • @starlitshame dang it, you're right, I named the wrong one.

  • @TAPriceCTR Thumbs Down On TAPriceCTR comment!!

  • is overclocking a good thing?

i looked it up and I can't tell.

  • @hobocamptheater lol, it depends on what you're doing. People overclock cuz they want to run software faster. It's good as far as converting faster, rendering graphics in games faster, or speeding up any other processor intensive application. There's a lot of OCing going on in the world of PC gaming, particularaly with the graphics cards. It's good for speed but bad for longevity. It's harder on the device so it generally decreases the life of the hardware.

  • @hobocamptheater Yeah Why don't you bump up your clocks on your FSB. Oh wait nvm you have a shitty OEM.

  • Its hot becuase his Prosessor fan cant run the overclocked CPU cold.

  • @ompakt OH REALLY? :O

  • i'm not a mac fanboy but that was funny as hell!!!!

  • mac and pc can talk? mine doesn't :(

  • Lol the pc's high! XD

  • FFS why cant ppl just understand that both systems have their advantages and disadvantagses?

  • @Chopsta123 I understand, Windows has a lot of software and is highly functional. Some of the software that comes built into Windows, however, isn't so great. Linux is also a pretty functional system, and it's also free (unless otherwise mentioned). Linux just doesn't have all the software that Windows has. The advantages of Macs are that they have everything you don't need and crash frequently. However, they don't support many games and are not upgradeable. So I understand.

  • Overclocking: It gives your PC wiiiiings!!

  • Well hey, if i want to record music, edit a video or photoshop a dick on a swimsuit model...i'll use a mac. If i want to run 'next gen' game titles while listening music and watch porn all at once, i'll stick with a PC. Also, overclocking is only dangerous if you dont take proper precautions, IE upgraded cooling systems.

  • @MyMindsDisease

I don't understand why people think macs are better for graphic design.

You can edit a video, record music, and photoshop a dick on a swimsuit model (lol) on a pc.

  • @tomoom165 Can you please explain to me how come all the movies you watch are edited, postproduced, color corrected, sound mixed on a Mac? same thing for all the magazines you read...

  • @TheVoodooFilms Not all of them are, sir.

  • @TheVoodooFilms Macs are designed for editing and rendering so there for that's why almost all creative and editing software is for macs, the graphic cards are only meant for rendering but windows on the other hand is designed for high end use with the processing power, for example playing a high quality game like crysis is only available on windows as a mac isn't capable of running it, unless you use bootcamp to run windows but it will still be poor running the game, due to the graphics card.

  • silly youtubers.........macs are for kids

  • @TheCacapower69 And for designers...

  • @TheCacapower69 Can you back up that claim with any actual evidence?

  • @TheCacapower69 na, kids like to play games rather than make videos.

  • @TheFunky333

    Soo true

  • @TheFunky333 But the thing is, macs don't really run many games..

  • @Kingddd333 dude unles you check out and understand the comment i'm replying to then you also understand that i ment PC instead of mac -.-

  • @TheFunky333 Ah yeah. Sorry.

  • @TheCacapower69 Wrong. Childhood obesity is a very serious problem.

  • ...that PC's not overclocked, someone put Ritalin in the CPU fan.

  • he's on crack lol

  • @MoskowFreak1111 no he is on speed.

  • the only reason people should buy a mac is if they are buying a bigmac at mcdonalds

  • @thejoeking97 tru,tru

  • @thejoeking97 That joke was horrible and you're 13.

  • @tomoom165 how did you know!? lol

  • Im AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME :D:D that is so cool :D

  • the best amongst the rest

  • I would rather underclock...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is the best parody in history!!!

  • virgins, i say stfu :)

  • @deejjj269 Gay

  • I love overcloaking thanks PC!!

  • Mac=PC. Both are personal computers derived off the GUI xerox made. They both use the same hardware and the OS is even similar. Hell, Windows was written off Mac back when Bill Gates worked for Apple. I seriously hate the fanboy ranting on either side. Fuck, Apple and Microsoft even stopped fighting after google announced their attempt to make an OS. The only difference really is that OSX is made to run on a Mac. Windows is made to run on whatever, you could probably hack an Xbox to run windows.

  • @aaren117 well, xbox is made by microsoft, so i would assume so.

  • @aaren117 they hacked the 360 to run linuix and mac is just a pc with less features/compadibility and bad coding, thats why you have to reinstall the operating system afetr a mac crashes

  • @kornholioa Macs dont crash.

Macs are just as compatible and have more features than PC's.

You never have to reinstall OSX if the Mac "crashes' because a Mac "Crash" is a kernel panic. All you have to do is reboot and you are done. Most Kernel panics are related to hardware issues as well.

  • @aaren117

    Macs don't crash my ass.

Ive had Windows 7 ever since it has came out and it hasn't crashed yet.

I guess only dumbass PC users have their computers crash.

  • @TMNoob3 You really didnt explain why macs crash. Or even an example, so I will take your comment as invalid.

  • @aaren117

Macs crash because something messed up.

    Is it that hard?

Im more of a hardware dude, not a coding dude.

They all crash, Mac and Windows computers.

  • @TMNoob3 THe Mac OS can't crash. There are kernel panics and those are generally considered a crash but it is just the OS freaking out about some piece of hardware.

  • @aaren117

And Windows "crashes" because about the same general idea.

    All computers are retarded.

  • @TMNoob3 No, windows crashes because of a fatal code error.

Windows is coded very poorly, it even requires a chipset just to run the damn thing. This is why Macs couldn't run windows will apple started using Intel processors instead of motorola. The fact that the hardware has to be made to fix the software is a disappointment.

  • @aaren117

Shut up, you know a Windows PC is cheaper and better.

  • @TMNoob3 They are the same price. Mac is more resilient, and if it weren't for Microsoft buying out their developers Mac would have more software.

  • @aaren117 Same price? Yeah... Right. Even if you couldn't get the same hardware from ready made PC makers for cheaper than a mac, you can utterly destroy the mac prices by building yourself or if you're not capable, getting a custom computer from a computer shop. You're just trolling. If you disagree, please reply with references.

  • @auspolk Build a 27" iMac for the same or less.

I would like to see you do it.

  • @aaren117 Gladly, iMac in Aus is $2599 Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F3 Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 6GB (3x XMS3 2GB) CoolerMaster 650W Extreme Plus $93.00 Intel Core i5 750 Processor 2.66GHz Sapphire ATI HD5770 1G Samsung 22X DVDRW ASRock X58 ExTreme Fractal R2 Case Store built tower cost, $1300 To match the monitor, add $999 dell 27" professional IPS monitor. $300 for more ram, better graphics, more upgradable but not a single unit.
  • @aaren117 So with my $300 saving, not that I'd buy such an expensive monitor to begin with so I'd have even more to work with I can upgrade to a beefier CPU, wack in a second, or almost even a third graphics card. Also I can upgrade this in the future, one day down the track going a second graphics card, not a choice in the mac. You're locked in.

  • @auspolk I forgot as well, Dell always offer 15% off to anyone in australia pretty much, so I'm left with even more money to work with once you take off the $150 saving. Personally I'd prefer to go a trip monitor setup of one of their cheaper IPS panels for that money. Eyefinity gaming goodness.

  • @auspolk First off the iMac is only 2,000.

Second, the iMac is built with laptop parts so stop using components for a tower.

Has to be at least 30 lbs, along with 4 USB ports, 1 firewire 800 and an SD card slot.

    SODIMM

The monitor also has to be an LED backlit. The mouse also has to have multi touch recognition and the all exteriors should be aluminum (computer, keyboard and mouse)

Also, needs built in Bluetooth, wifi, camera, Mic, and speakers.

For 600 less than what you have.

  • Pshhh Overclocking is for mainstream gaming dweebs with more money than sense. If it does make a signifiant differnce to overclock something is wrong, either your hardware is more than 5 years old (cause seriously a properly maintained single core P4 can still compete with a quad core for most applications), or your configuration is screwy. BTW too CPU overclocking will have minimum effect on your gaming its your GPU where most of the benefits will be

  • @klingoncowboy4 I dunno, nobody makes fun of hot rodders who 'over clock' their 302 small block to pump 500+ hp out of it........... The dweebs just can't turn a wrench, or lift the crank shaft, or time the motor or..or...or... :D

  • @Drumboy5165 lol touché

  • @klingoncowboy4 stfu whore

  • @klingoncowboy4 So overclock the GPU. A 5850 for example will comfortably go from ~700mhz stock clock to 1000mhz or more yielding a tremendous performance increase. Hardly more money than sense, if you had more money you'd have just gone a 5870 with less overclocking headroom.

  • I used to overclock and get 60 degrees.

  • EPIC FACE IS EPIC! LOL

  • AHAHAHAH!!!!

That was the best one yet!

    Overclockin' baby!!!

  • Yeahhh... A normal-clocked Mac runs faster than an overclocked PC:

    I'm just sayin'...

  • @magichristo Yeah I guess if the PC spent hundreds of dollars less, a Mac's specs are not that impressive.

  • @magichristo

your a fail troll or a fucking idiot,

  • @Zacq768 1.- Learn to spell.

2.- What I said is generally true.

  • @magichristo

    I'm sorry mister grammar nazi.

You're a fail troll or a fucking idiot.

Dude, do not even compare Mac hardware to Pc hardware! let alone when it is overclocked.

I'm not going to argue with you, because its stupid to argue hardware speeds.

Mac software runs well with Mac hardware.

Windows/Linux software runs well on EVERYTHING else.

    End of story.

  • @magichristo thats because you are a noob. Enough said.

  • @cltw666 All I have to say to you is: Lol.

Seriously. All you do when you have no arguments is insult me. Double Lol.

  • @magichristo I'm not about to lie like you. A normal-clocked Mac runs faster than a overclocked PC... LMAO... I nearly piss myself laughing at how noob you are. Are you running a 486 PC? perhaps your mom didnt give you enough pocket money... start LEARNING..

It is simple.. Apple is user friendly it is designed for NOOBs. anyone even my grandma can use it!. If you cant handle your own computer, choose a Mac.

  • @cltw666 Since when was ease of use only for noobs? Honestly, a Mac fits my needs better, and it's not that I can't handle windows. I do have a windows machine. 2 actually. I can handle them very well. Even my grandma can use it. Seriously

And the fact that _"even YOUR grandma can use it", how is that a negative point?

Ease of use is as important as speed, stability, etc. And it's not noobish.

By the way, call Chris Pirillo a noob,

  • @magichristo another mac fanboys. you guys need to stop stereotyping PC with Windows. if u are talking about stable and reliable, I have a home server with ubuntu that hasnt need a restart since 8 months ago. I can overclock my server too compared to your mac.

  • @magichristo last thing.. Chris Pirillo is the worst noob I've ever seen on the internet. whenever theres a problem, he blames it on windows. When its 3rd party software problem, he blame Windows. However, when OSX got hacked because of 3rd party software, Apple gets to blame the software company for being lazy... wow thats very fair~ all i can hear from Apple ads are lies lies and lies.

Also, Chris Pirillo has been tagged as a Mac fanboys faggot. He either gets paid by apple or is just noob

  • @cltw666 You've gotta be kidding me. If you say that, then you definitely do not know Chris, at all.

    Fanboy? No.

Fan? Yes. And he has more than enough reasons to be an Apple fan. Also, he criticises Apple, specially the iPhone. He has Windows Machines. He also runs Windows on VMware. He has and uses an HP touchsmart. He has always been very objective when it comes to evaluating tech.Unlike you, Chris , and Apple say things that can be verified and are truths. So plase, shut up, and learn, kid

  • @magichristo bit(dot)ly/P2jYS

  • @cltw666 Only SOME of those are true arguments, and those which ARE arguments are against Apple fanboys, not against something Mac says.

This is not relevant. Get some serious arguments or give up and admit you're wrong about Apple and Chris.

  • @magichristo lmao.. are you a kid? give up and admit? lol.. no matter wat you say i'll believe in what i believe.. Apple products are junk. It will never get into my house and it will never overtake Windows'. Chris is just a mac fanboy and thats it. I dont even consider him a tech guru... He needs to learn how to manage his computer from hardware to software.

Btw, if you Apple fanboys wanna talk about how good your Mac is, bring some benchmark scores and we'll talk about speed.

  • @cltw666 No, I'm not a kid. And Chris, not only he is not a Mac fanboy, but he is definitely a tech "guru", if that's what you wanna call it. He sure knows how to manage his computer, he knows tons about hardware and software, gadgets, devices, and he has done so much for the tech community, that I guess you're just...jealous?

Again, find some REAL proof that Chris is a Mac fanboy. Get some real arguments or shut the fuck up

  • @magichristo Chris Pirelli is a tech "Guru"? LMAO! He appeals to newbs, the uninformed, and the technologically ignorant. He knows nothing about programming, engineering nor have any credentials. Wake up dude!

  • @cltw666 6300 on geekbench. will be getting a ssd soon too.

  • @cltw666 thats on my laptop

  • @magichristo Sorry to jump in but Chris P is what’s known as a closet fanboy, This is a very well known Fact, He will never outright say Mac is better than PC but has made some fairly inaccurate narrow minded comments when it comes to Windows OS, this is why a lot of people now call Chris Parillo a noob.

  • @magichristo i dont think so, you take an i7 imac then take a 4ghz i7 on a pc, pc will kick its ass, why would you think that the mac would be faster? thats dumb

  • @magichristo you can't compare a i7 mac to a intel 4004 based pc dumbass

  • Macs...can...overclock. So what are we trying to say here?

  • @akpokemon: overclock? haha.. pc's do it better..

  • @Strontium9T Yeah a pc that runs as shitty as your mac, time to upgrade.

  • @FLStudio4512 Macs don't have to be over-clocked and with a name like "FLStudio4512" I'd say YOU are the one that needs an upgrade. I have an iMac running Pro Tools and Waves Plug ins and I record while searching the internet or loading videos and not ONE crash.

  • Comment removed

  • @Youexposed1 Well the main reason to overclock the PC is so you get more fps while playing games.... Ohhh thats right mac operating system doesnt play games...

and not ONE crash while doing 2 or 3 low ram Consuming tasks? Thats amazing, it sounds like the way you say it most macs cant handle that without crashing.

  • @Piezipx Dude, do you even KNOW what im running??

I'm running Pro Tools and Reason while recording Live instrumentation/vocals with various plug ins and tracks/track edits running in real time with NO delay.

A PC would crash loading these programs up alone.

  • @Youexposed1 ......what makes you say that a pc would crash?

  • @Piezipx Experience. do a youtube or google search for "recording studio". ALL big/major studios run on Macs. That's how I got into Macs in the first place.

Before I didnt know about all this Mac vs. PC stuff. I thought all computers were just "computers". I kept hearing smaller studio engineers in my town complain about PC's and how they NEEDED a Mac... And so I was introduced to my first Mac.

I dont "hate" PCs. It just disturbs me how misinformed PC loyalists are.

  • @FLStudio4512

    pcfanboialert

  • do you not read the title idiot? it says "[Low Quality]" READ BEFORE YOU POST!

  • @dyl1828,

Wipe the drool off your chin, look up "sarcasm" in the dictionary, and then get back with me.

  • @Strontium9t

I know what "sarcasm" is, but maybe you realize the most obvious fact of language, you can't express sarcasm over the internet (at least no easily with text only).

  • @dyl1828

It's apparent that my sarcasm was lost on you, so I completely agree.

So don't you think you should realize your own point, and consider the possibility that sometimes people's statements can be misunderstood. (i.e. give them the benefit of the doubt, and not call them "idiots?")

  • @Strontium9t

Ok, yes peoples statements can be misunderstood, but that does not mean you give them the benefit of the doubt. And the only reason I called you an idiot, was because (not looking at it thru sarcasm) you were in that statement. And your reply post treated me just like an idiot to, it treated me like I cant understand people.

  • How about this, your both fucking idiots! now STFU

  • XD, i will keep talking all day long.

  • Lol isnt hot here?

  • Oh my gosh PC on drugs!!! :D

  • @TheOnlyEpsilonAlpha roids to be specific

  • @wildbloodydragon I'd say more like meth than roids...

  • Either way it's some kinda upper.

  • Pumping more speed in ur computer, or in other words do u knoww when ppl are hyper and they got that boost? its cause of shugar its like giving ur pc a dose of shugar, or if u still dont understand its like smoking weed :P get high and ur like superr hypeR!

  • @lilty959 when i smoke weed i just want to chill lol i hardly doubt anyone get hyper when they are high...... unless they want food

  • @CrazyHappyFace lol dude ?! i get extreamly hype xD i get very mad when i get the munchies :P PS Weed has diffrent effects on ppl :P i get lazy or hype, badtripp wtvv it all depends :P

  • @CrazyHappyFace OMG I SHOULD ADD HERION TO MY LIQUID COOLING ON MY HACKINTOSH :D AHAHAHA! lol but i dont to herion thoo its not good for you

  • It isnt like smoking weed, since dope is not a stimulant. It is probably more similar to meth.

  • @lilty959

i dont know what you have been smoking...

weed makes you lazy so many arguments about who has to go to the shops

  • @andyp363 lol yea ur right but 4 me i get hype ! but i Can concentrate !?

  • @viperx4wert

Overclocking is programing your hardware to run at a higher speed or with more power than it was made for. For example, I can take a 2.6 GHz processor then overclock it to 2.8 GHz buy changing the multiplier in either the BIOS or with software. You can also make a video card run more powerful by programming the fan to run faster, et cetera. Overclocking can increase the power of a PC, but it lowers the life and can also ruin the PC if done incorrectly.

  • Thanks for the info. I wish i could overclock my 'wonderful' geforce 4mx, but i dont think i should considering the risks.....

  • its when you make your computer set itself to outdo standard usage of certain systems :P

if i bdid that with mine it would probably overload XD

and it is best to have an after market cooling system instlled in your computer to keep it from overheating :P

  • making your processor faster than its supposed to be. for example 3,6 gh instead of 3,2 gh. its not recommended as the processor gets to hot, and might end up as barbeque.

  • boosting the clockspeed of your CPU.

Let' say your PCU is a 3.0 Ghz processor, u can "overclock" it to a 4.0 Ghz, but i'ts not recommended since it can F your CPU up :-) and you wont get anything out of it unless u have a high-end and above PC hehe

  • @viperx4wert its where you exceed the manufactures recommended limits on hardware. like a 2.10 ghz processor can be made to do 2.75 ghz.. it can really heat up your stuff though.

  • So if i were to overclock an 2.6GHz with plenty of fans what would it be?

  • it would be crap cuz 2.6 isnt that good lol. im running 3.2GHz normal clock

  • Yeah that ones my shit computer. Ive got a 3.1GHz athlon 64 X2 in this computer :D

  • I'm AWESOME!

  • that's exactly how I feel when I overclock... WEEEE!!!

  • lol! pcs on the pills

  • i run a i7 860 @ 4ghz (200mhz base clock, multiplier set to 20x) my 64 bit geekbench score is 12105

i went over to futureshop, commendeered their dual xeon mac pro, downloaded & ran geekbench(64). it scored 10670

the rest of my system is as follows: asus p7p55d deluxe,1x ati 4890, 4gb corsair dominator ram, 2x1tb wdblack(raid 1), 1x 500gb wd black, 2x 150gb wd vraptor(one has osx sl, one win 7 ult x64... its a hot swap)

my system cost 1/4th the amount :D

  • I'd add a little more memory, myself. But the best deals come from bigger packs of Memory.

Thank You for posting your details!

  • @JSLEnterprises Until its life ends earlier than expected, even if cooled.

  • @osmodivs well, its been 11 months, changed vid cards to 2x nvidia GT470's, and added ram (took out the pc12800 ram and replaced it with 8gb of pc16000 ram.

running stronger than ever. no probs with either the board or processor. not even a hic-up. a mac's hardware is made by the same manufacturers. If it'll fail, it'll fail regardless of weather its a mac or a 'pc'.

  • @JSLEnterprises But you will be charged the price of a new mac for the failure though.

  • @osmodivs and if you're wondering, the older hardware is running in my server. The 4890 is folding 24/7.

  • OMG thats so great lol. Just another example of why Windows based systems are cheaper and better then Mac. Macs you pay twice as much for half the power and with a windows machine you have twice the power that you can overclock and get even more out of. idk this product sells itself =D

  • no computers are Windows based

  • I have my Core2Duo 2.2ghz oced to 3.3ghz with a 20$ cooler (Coolermaster hyperTX2, is quiter than the stock fan) and get same temps as a normal 2.2 , but 1.1ghz more... and for free, and it has been running that way for 2 years now

  • I run my PC overclocked without the heat problems! This just applies to those crud boxes that the big companies make, not home built gaming rigs where performance is more important than cutting costs, and the CPU fans that come with the processors take a back seat to big aluminum cases and liquid cooling systems.

  • PCs Rock!!!!!! #%%# Macs

  • lol that good

  • LOLZ the PC's face is just hilarious

  • It's called a aftermaket fan/water cooling!

DIdn't know a couple $20 can get you sooooo far ;)

  • IT is hot! :P

  • I always used to overclock my PC until I fucked it up.

  • you did it wrong then because I'm on my fourth overclocked PC and probably my tenth overclocked processor and I've never fried anything.

  • My one wasn't that good at the time.I only overclocked it because It wouldn't run some games(Crysis ran on it at like 22FPS on Normal speed). It overheated because I had no internal fan I always just used a normal fan and took the side of the PC Case off.

  • agreed. I only use watercooling now though.. watch those temps :)

  • watercooling? dude thats sweet awesome idea

  • @geeknproud2110 ...Then why is it your tenth processor? :\

  • Because I upgrade my system until I no longer can then I build a new one. I've been overclocking since the Athlon Thunderbird. I just upgrade a few components every year. I've never burnt one out if that's what you think...

  • stupid hurts

  • give weed to your computer and then it goes overclocking...

  • that is so my computer (PC)

  • i havent gotten the BSOD in over mayby 7 years now and when i did get it back in the days all i had to do was press 1 button and it went away.

  • lol well i have i nissan skyline with twin turbo with 5 ponds of bost

  • Yay overclocking, I have had a 1GHz overclock to 2.8GHz on my e6300 for almost 3 years now. I will budget bump it and put in a newer 45nm 1066fsb c2d, placing it at 4.4GHz.

  • i got a question.. what the heck is the blue screen of death i have used a pc since i got one at the age of 11 (im now 25) and i have never seen it i had a blue flash one time when my friends crap-tastic netbook went berserk on a virus but that was it just a flash of blue then it restarted

  • blue screen is when you either push your computer past its ability to function and when it stops working you get a blue screen notifying you, or when windows crashes you get a blue screen.

  • haha
