@thumbalins after 6 weeks of applying this device bit.ly\vC23Ux Every person cannot believe just how smooth my legs are. They ask me if it's simply because I am a blonde that there's almost no hair ther, and I told them I'm not really a natural blond so, there are plenty of hair there you just do not see it anymore… It's long gone.
@m107676548 depends obviously... You would have to make a small research around your area. It can be expensive but I found a place where prices are reasonable and I do think it really worths it.
you are very knowledgeable about this stuff!! I have pcos and have hormonal hair growth on my face and i am starting laser hair removal this month . It was a last resort option but i have come to realize it's my only option now, if it doesn't work i will be devastated. I don't care about the risks or the cost as long as it works for me i will be happy!
@natesmom2244 Having a bit of a hormonal blast myself at the moment, I know how you feel. Im trying to treat the hormonal issue first and then I will deal with hair-loss, acne and unwanted hair. good luck!
thanks very informative i have really lite skin and really dark hair and sensitive skin, and the hair grows back super fast and ive been thinking about laser hair removal. but does it get rid of hair all together?
@rockonmakeup there are special epilators for this area (they are usually smaller and cheaper). Personally I dont recommend epilating facial hair because instead of removing a couple dark hairs it would remove the lighter hairs around the area you are using it (those hairs that once were light can come back darker). If you are careful though, a face epilator might be a good investment, depending on your needs.
@chocolate20101990 I have no idea about the epicare (must be an american thing?) but I can really tell you bleaching is not a good method. Especially if your skin is medium/dark, a yellow mustache would just look WRONG. Waxing is an affordable alternative that wont really strengthen the hair -since it removes it from the root- but if your facial hair is rather light in colour perhaps it will grow a couple of tones darker... Good Luck x
Hi sweetiie^^ I has a mustache which really irriates me. I really wants to remove it but i'm afraid of it appearing more darker and thicker. My skin is also a very sensitive skin which really gives me a headache. I don't know what type of method is suitable and will not grow more thicker and darker.
hope you could suggest a solution =) thankyou so much~
@chocolate20101990 hi! the two methods that dont make the hair come back darker are lasers and electrolysis. As I explain in the video electrolysis is what I highly recommend. Both of these methods can be a bit expensive so the alternative I would suggest to that is waxing. Electrolysis really worths the money though if you think that its a permanent solution. Hope I answered the question xx
If you do get an epilator make sure you get anything from Bruns silk épil range:they are the best. And yes after a while you do get used to the pain, I reaches the point where I epilate legs, armpits and bikini now! I didnt know what to do with these sensitive areas either (I was shaving and it was BAD) but I started epilating them and although it did hurt for the first couple of times, I really dont regret it!
@valerieeet Unfortunatelly I dont have that much of an experience with epilators but I know from my friends and from reviews on the internet that nothing works like silk-épil. I can tell you that I have the simplest and most standard model of them and it works like a dream. It catches very short hairs too, so Im guessing the more advanced models will be even better. Try to read reviews before buying on makeupalley, beautyjudge and other websites x
@bethluvshermeeko the trick is to do it at the right time. Ive been told that I should do both electrolysis and laser everytime I see hair popping out of the skin. With laser I didnt know that and I was having my treatments randomly (when the hair was longer than it shoul've been) and it didnt work. Also I wanted to say to all the girls with hair-issues and/or bad acne: check your ovaries for cysts! Really important!
Ahh, I'm about as pale as you and my hair is much darker :((, my personal methods are plucking, shaving and hair removal creams. I don't LOVE the creams but they work damn well on my legs.
@ellexoelle i did random facial hair (about 20mins a treatment) and my mum shapes her eyebrows that way (almost an hour!). As I said it all has to do with YOUR type of hair, it depends on how fast it grows and how often your treatments are done. I have done about 8 of them & because the hair wasnt as strong, it was enough. My mum does a treatment every 2 weeks for about 7 months now and the hair got weak and less so shes probably about to end the treatments in 2-3months... really depends
I've tried laser and the hairs after YEARS did somewhat become less, but they're still there! I'm interested in electrolysis. How many times did you do it? and does it completely remove hairs for ever?
it really depends on the area and how strong & fast your hair grows. The way it works is: everytime electricity hits the follicle a 40% of the cells that produce hair stops working. So each time the hair-producing cells are less &less. It really leaves you hair-free as long as the frequency between the treatments is right (every time your hair starts appearing you have to have a treatment or else the 40% of cells you "killed" gets back together and becomes 30-20% and so on)
Thank you so much! And hair removal creams are my least favourite option, I cant stand them, I can even say that I prefer the painful waxing method! I try to keep in mind (and repeat it to all of my friends-that happen to be brunettes) that ITS JUST HAIR! We should take it easy and not be willing to jeopardize our health in order to be fuzz-free: lazers and weird chemicals are excluded for me- i really appreciate my epilator.
Also, I completely agree about hair removal creams- they smell awful, are chock full of chemicals, and for people with sensitive skin like us, they can be dangerous to use--I've burned myself using creams like Nair before, and it's absolutely awful-it can even leave a permanent mark. And for what? The results, at least for me, are no better than shaving.
great video. you're brave to breach the subject, and it's true, brunettes with fair skin do have to deal with more visible hair than others and it can be really frustrating. I find that bleaching works great for darker peach fuzz in larger areas.
