if i were you if you have 4 more touch sensors, put them on the things that move the claw so when you move the claw all of the way to the right, the touch sensor will touch the wall and would not make it move any more to the right so you dont ruin the motors.

make it take coins, the coin falls in and makes a motor connect wires so the machine works, that holds for 30 secs then the claw returns to the starting position and drops whatever it held (probably bullshit but idc)

@xxXpitboyXxx i tried that idea originally. i couldnt get it to work. The programming would have been easy. from what i remember, i think i ran out of sensor ports on the two RCXs. I had 4 touch sensors to run the control knob, another touch sensor to control the claw dropping and closing, then a rotation sensor to control the distance the claw desended. theres only 6 ports.

eek, the sets i used are discontinued but you can find them on eBay for steal prices i would recommend buying NXT's which are newer and you could do more then i did. But i will still help you with either. Do you have an AIM? this is not the place to be bouncing off ideas.

Yea the entire thing is 100% Lego. The only exceptions is the saran wrap to keep the prizes in it. The other one is the string, its accually dental floss because no Lego string could withstand the stress.
