History never is true history, it still hingers and often returns back 2-3-4-5 fold. Ive seen it with the US history. To know what the future holds one must watch and know the TRUE history.

As to answer your statement, yes WE never exterminated people but the enemy did, and in my analogy, the serial killers are the enemy. I don't know why the world thinks it is advanced and why people so love to trash a government when they themselves are guilty...as in what the white man did is awful but report your own history while your at it...as in the native government was evil and so was the Japanese and so was the American and the Britts and French...All are guilty, all and every Nation is guilty....
There was also a genocide attempt on Native people with residential schools in BC and other parts of Canada. My anthropology teacher said the Canadian gov't doesnt allow any research in the burial grounds. They're afraid of digging up an absolutely shameful and racist legacy.
@TheParadigmShift Depends on who your teacher is. I teach grade 10 history. So far we've talked about Residential Schools and I discuss this every year when I get to World War II. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
Wow, how quickly we forget our recent past. Most people think that Canada has been a free and equal multicultural society since it's inception. I guess propaganda does much for ones image. Thanks for posting 5*
