I'd never heard of Louis Stewart until a week ago and I've been playing Jazz guitar for 15 years! This is why I love youtube! Such tone, clarity, coherency, fluidity and swing in his playing. Beautiful!
My oldsest friend the Actor Andrew Schofield got married back in the eighties and afyter the wedding instead of going to the reception we us three jumped in a taxi wedding dress and all and went to a Louis Steward gig...He was playing a white antoria in Liverpool and played send in the clowns he was visibly impressed i must say and played acordingly beautiful music...Thankyou for that great memory.
Its always great to see John Wadham on drums on You Tube! Its easy to forget how brilliant he was. I got lessons for years off him. A great man who died too young. RIP Wad! Thanx for posting deangelico!

"Louis Stewart's name should be a household jazz name". Yes, world-wide. Hopefully, Youtube videos will help to remedy the situation.
Great clip, D'A. Thanks for sharing it.
