I had to learn the hard way that that foam is not good. Most shampoos contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which that foamy affect comes from which causes the hair to dry. it strips hair of its natural oils and causes is to break and slow growth. and in shampoos they use alot of it because its cheap
@bossgal3 100% natural products still work great even if they don't lather. They just have to be used differently. Are you using Shae Moisture now? What would you recommend from that line?

I am 29 and lost my mother. it caused my hair to thin from the stress because i have to take care of my little brother and my own children. i have been using beauty 4 ashes super grow system. during the 1st wk i saw no results, but when i got my hair relaxed it has grew out three more inches. i told them about my situation and they sent me $100 to help with my bills and some prayers. i know that there products didn't work for u. try contacting them because they might really bless u.

@bossgal3 I do too. I will continue to use my regular motions products in the mean time. The sad thing abt it is I emailed them and this is what they said "We never implore customers or persuade individuals to purchase". Unbelievable! Then they tried to quote some scriptures to me and telling me that " The enemy wants you to feel your conditioner does not suffice. He want you to feel your hair is better off with the chemicals".
everyone be careful when buying from this company I brought the shampoo and conditioner on september 3, 2010 and it is now October 6, 2010 they sent me a email saying it was shipped. and have not received my order I have emailed them sereval time for the tracking number so that I can track it and got no response and have sent 3 letters to the company and still I'm waiting for a response from them I spent $57.98

I just bought a system from them. The Moisture Max and Gro system. It was two products for 49.99. I have used a lot of natural products before, but this stuff was super drying. It stripped my hair more than a harsh clarifying shampoo. I assumed that I was sent the wrong formulation so I contacting them for help. They told me that natural products "seem" drying and I needed to add oil. But my hair was dry and breaking off. When I said I was unhappy, they had legal threaten me.
you cant really expect change after 3 weeks. because the hair must be washed every two weeks anyways thus & 3 weeks is too early to tell you should see differcences in your hair within 2-3 months

Just an FYI shampoo that lathers and contain sulfate is NOT good for African American hair. It dries the hair our, so be carful when using products that do create that lather!!!

I love Beauty 4 Ashes, I get the ethnic one and it works really well. Sorry it didn't work for you and it does say on the website and the inside the packaging that it does not create a large sud. That is because it does not contain harsh sulfates so it will not dry out your hair.
I think this review is excellent- its always good to see both sides. I've been using beauty 4 ashes for 2 years and I use the shampoo, hair mist & Lotion and the conditioners- they work realyl well as a part of a daily regimen. As far as "super gro products" I can't speak to that. Again, the regular stuff shampoo etc is great!!!
I'm so glad you made this video. I purchased the entire system as well, it is now on sale $119.99. Ordered a few months ago, took 16 full business days to get shipped (guess they formulate the products differently).
The bottles seemed 3/4 full instead of completely filled. After using the product 4 weeks, saw roughly little to no change in my hair breakage. I have continued to use the 'serum" to seal my ends though.

The system didn't work so well for me either. I too read all good reviews, until I experienced the product for myself. Now the "serum" and "hair mist" are pretty good. If you decide to purchase Beauty4Ashes, I would buy 1 or 2 to try it out.

the reason you have breakage is because you need to take vitamins as well and if you get your hair chemically treated, use a lot of heat etc... The shampoo can only do so much. The reason the other shampoo (Apho...) stopped the breakage is because of the fillers, these actually DAMAGE your hair. It will take more than 3WKS to really get your hair in tip top shape. Love it , Love it Love it. This actually does what it says it will do; however all three of these will cost you $80 dollars and that is just too much to pay regularly when the products have a shelf life of 60 days.
It is a 100% natural product. This means that it lacks chemical fillers that regular shampoos contain. B4A natural shampoos are watery, but have the necessary natural ingredients to clean your hair just as well as chemically manufactured shampoos. B4A shampoos, also will only lather minimally, because 100% natural shampoos lack sulfates, which is the harsh chemical in regular shampoos that creates a lather. B4A silky smooth shampoo gives the best lather, if you really prefer lather.
That is how you know that it is a natural shampoo. The stuff that makes the shampoo lather is Sulfate and it is harmful to the hair but most shampoo will have that ingredient in it if it is not natural. I use a Sulfate free shampoo that I get at Sally Beauty supply store and it does not lather. It cost about $10.00 and it is called Hair One. It works good. I don't plan on purchasing Beauty For Ashes after this review; although I know that everybody's hair is different.

wow. im so sorry to hear that. i only recently heard about this line (literally 2 days ago) and was really interested in learning more because it seemed like it could be really good, but also like it was too good to be true especially since it was SO expensive. plus, i had only read good things about it, but now i'm a little more weary about it and reluctant to save up and buy it. its funny, i was waiting for someone else to buy it too :) sorry though, but thanks for the knowledge.
I read some good reviews about the product as well, but not many. In any case, if you want to try it, I suggest buying maybe one or two items to see if your hair likes the product, but I wouldn't buy the whole system. Good Luck! ;-)
I use beauty for ashes and love it; honestly this is the first negative review I've heard about it. I always hear people complain about the price though.
I am sure it work for some people hair, but I wasn't happy with it. As for the price there are cheaper products that produce great results. I am using a less expensive product now that is doing wonders to my hair. The price wasn't the issue for me.

wow. im so sorry to hear that. i only recently heard about this line (literally 2 days ago) and was really interested in learning more because it seemed like it could be really good, but also like it was too good to be true especially since it was SO expensive. plus, i had only read good things about it, but now i'm a little more weary about it and reluctant to save up and buy it. its funny, i was waiting for someone else to buy it too :) sorry though, but thanks for the knowledge.

I read some good reviews about the product as well, but not many. In any case, if you want to try it, I suggest buying maybe one or two items to see if your hair likes the product, but I wouldn't buy the whole system. Good Luck! ;-)

I use beauty for ashes and love it; honestly this is the first negative review I've heard about it. I always hear people complain about the price though.

I am sure it work for some people hair, but I wasn't happy with it. As for the price there are cheaper products that produce great results. I am using a less expensive product now that is doing wonders to my hair. The price wasn't the issue for me.
