Hey EQ is awesome still.... its a lot of fun using the old character models from pre-luclin.... i personally am having tons of fun since i went back a few days ago, experiancing some of the good old times that i had playing EQ years ago....... Honestly if you like Everquest enough you should come back and relive it again. But anyways i do love the video it really puts together some of the really fun things of Everquest :)

I played in 1999-2001. I feel like a dork ass but this game was a wonderful experience, overall. The people I met and the experiences were really cool. I don't consider it a waste of time at all.

In 1999 EQ was a life-changing experience for so many of us.  It's amazing to me how often I hear other people say the same things - we can never get it back. Well, that's true. I play EQ again from time to time. It's fun again but it can never be what it was in the beginning. Sad. These are some great screenshots - very nostalgic to see the old UI and buff icons, etc. Thanks for posting!

I really wish I coulda played this back in the day. Sure the graphics look ancient by todays standards and the interface looks ancient. But the following this game had was what makes me wish I had not missed out. Its probably too late now to get in the game and "GET" what was so good about it back then. :p
