God bless you brother! Thanks for sharing your story... People here are just angry cause they don't have your gifts nor your strength nor your courage.
Oh dear. Honey, just a thought, but if your "freedom from homosexuality" testimony involves multiple musical numbers, you might not be as free as you think.
What a horrible man giving people false hope when it's not even needed. I do hope he wasn't hetero from the beginning, but is a repressed homosexual in denial which I believe he is.
Anyone else here can think what they want, but if a God exists he'll go to Hell for bringing others down and lying to himself and everyone else around him, not for being a Homosexual man.
thank you DENNIS, 4 being OBEDIENT 2 the voice of THE FATHER, & allowing THE HOLY SPIRIT 2 minister thru u! 2 be involved in sin that is so widely accepted took courage, faith &an apepitite 4 more of GOD..what I recvd from ur witness is that there r many forms of SIN, & GOD LOVE is capable n willn 2 rescue us where we r 2 REUNITE us w/The Father! and 1ce delvr'd we r 2 go bk & Thank Jesus 4 our delvrnce, this ministers 2 others still n bondage, who the enemy is lyn 2 that God will not delvr!
Go to God and expose the darkness. I was so brutally honest with God about what I loved, which was sex with men. I even told God what turned me on, which I was when describing it to him..and then in the midst of lust...Incredible release from those urges...peace and joy. Christ is the liberator, and there is no other by which you can be saved. I was a homosexual, but free of it since 1997. Like Dennis, yes I am tempted at times, but this does not define me. Jesus defines me.
I am happy for him ! This man seems quite genuine & honest and so I don't believe that he's repressed in any way. I've taken the time to listen to him & It's like he's found something very special that gives him great genuine happiness.
Oh great. That's exactly what we need. Another liar saying he's turned straight through religion. 1. He's either lying about his sexuality in the first place to gain followers, 2. Is only repressing his homosexuality desires and still remains homosexual and 3. He is possibly bisexual and didn't realise it till later on.
It's not uncommon for this to happen. You see a fair lot of people who were in a non-same-sex marriage who founded out they were gay many years later.
@SniperOnTheDot So I take it your name is Dennis then, to know him so intimately that he's #1-3 for you. I know you cannot imagine that there is a person that through Jesus, stopped being homosexual.
@anyfreegift I don't need to know him, I know that he was probably always a straight man and was just confused, or in fact is bisexual. If jesus existed then I'm sure he couldn't give a flying fuck about someones sexuality. Some people actually believe jesus was gay himself.
ALL THINGS are possible through Jesus Christ. ALL THINGS, as in overcoming any kind of sexual addiction or obsession. I know homosexuals commonly DON'T want to believe that, because it would affirm the truth that embracing sexual sin is in fact, a choice.
@PeiperJ2 Does Genesis really say that?? The Elohim created Mankind in their Image, Male and Female they created them. Is that [Male] and [Female]... or [Male and Female] they created them??...
Here is a clue. The Hebrew word translated as "God" is Elohim.Elohim is the MASCULINE plural to the FEMININE word for goddess "Eloah". It is therefore both male and female, singular and plural all at once...
hey bro, im pretty sure jezus or god whatever the fuck you wanna call him doesnt really give a shit about you being naughty...if you like boys its ok as long as you dont do anythin against somebody's will
The man appears to be genuinely content with the choices he has made and I wish him the best. If he is fronting, God will sort him out. God is mightier than the will of man. Even if one doesn't agree with the man's stance, that's no reason to vehemently react in such an indignant and crass manner.
@KamensTV "by their fruit you shall know them." you are not showing evidence of being any sort of proud Christian. for one thing, the Bible reveals the heart of God, and it is the basis of our present knowledge of what being Christian is, and who Christ is. second, this man's testimony is his honest story of what the God of the Bible has done in his life. Jesus can do all things, restore all things, through His love. change CAN happen and DOES happen, but people get in the way.
I am not tolerant of your bullshit. It is engrained in you who you love . It is not changeable. To the straight people: can you imagine yourself being "changed" to love people of your same sex? No, because it can't happen. This disgusting human being is in nothing but denial.
@KamensTV I had to repent of witchcraft and the occult. Maybe not a sexual issue, but still a lifestyle that totally encapsulated who I was, who my friends were, what I did, and what I loved. Now, to say that the choice to obey God was easy? HECK NO! I lost friends, I was tormented by the demons who sure wasn't going to just let me walk away from them, and I had to change what I believed or what I would embrace. But to endure it all was certainly worth it. THATS HOW MUCH I LOVE GOD.
@Nauticalman Lifestyle makes more sense. I'm gay, though, and I still carry out a "normal" life, so to speak (one that a straight male would have). I have straight friends, like (some) sports, play the guitar, etc. Your sexuality shouldn't encompass your lifestyle.
I hope this really is your story because it is amazing to finally find someone that shares the same views as I do. I believe that the violence that people in the LGTB community survive is just wrong. It doesn't matter who you are I don't believe for a second that God, himself who is loving and merciful, would EVER belittle, beat, rape, or even unwelcome a stuggling man or woman. Thats right people its just a struggle not a welcome card for violence. Love is a universal language. Learn it.
I really believe in my heart, that God can really change a person. With the songs of Dennis that I have heard 8 years ago, It has ministered to me and to many people and that is a proof that God really works in the life of every individual who wants to be changed. God bless you , your songs are very nice Glory to God!!
Only Jesus sets a person free, He has set me free of the desires that were destroying my life. And for me to say that I did this and that I would be giving myself glory but I won't. I give the Lord Jesus and the Power of His Holy Spirit all of the GLORY AND ALL OF THE PRAISE!!!
Why would you want to be "free" of the natural way God made you? That's like a black person covering himself with make up and proclaiming himself "free" from a life as an African-American. God makes you the way He wants you. Why argue?
"And I wish I could take your heart into my heart. I wish I could show you just how good it feels to let go of the things that you know are killing you. Cling to the only One who can heal."
This is exactly what I wanted to say to my friend.
Beautiful video, song, and spirit. God bless you man. And thank you.
Folks who are indoctrinated into hating themselves, via the church or social pressure, need to repress, deny, or "change" what they dislike about themselves. There have been blacks who bleached their skin, convinced that being black was "inferior". There have been religious minorities who denied their faith, out of the mistaken idea that it was "wrong". And there are gays who pass in"str8" society, convinced that they've "changed" orientation. But WHY try to change the way God made you?
The only reason one struggles with homosexuality is because society refuses to except it and our friends and family are taught that it is wrong. The only reason one struggles with homosexuality is because he is afraid of being someone that his family will not like. Im sorry, but I do not agree with you on that one can be free from homosexuality. What is to be from? Your own personal shame? Your own unwillingness to eccept yourself for who you are?
keeping your eyes on the alpha and omega will change you the Lord has shown others as well as myself the truth about things.and these experiences are supernatural.change is inevidible you have a choice you can change for the better or for the worst.if you choose Jesus you will always win.
I really like the point you made, Dennis, that temptation does not define who you are. That is so true. We have the mind of Christ and are made in His image. What is not not fully realized yet will be completed on That Day!
@SuperFantasticFox I completely agree, the manipulation and fear mongering of it makes me sick. To the video poster, you're welcome to your beliefs but that rhetoric cost me 10 years of my life.
YOUR JOURNEY IS NOT COMPLETE MY SON. YOU ARE STILL ENSLAVED BY THE EVILS OF SHELLFISH AND POLYESTER, WHICH GOD ALSO PROCLAIMED TO BE ABOMINATIONS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. TAKE HEED OR YOUR WILL FEEL HIS WRATH.
@alsoRichards Care to show me how that portion of the Mosaic Law is reiterated by the law of love in the New Testament? It is true however, that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ). Just prior to this verse, the Bible states: "Do not be deceived..." which shows that you can be deceived. Sounds like you are.
I wanted to comment of "fullofawesomeness101"'s statement. Your actually more right then you think. The way it's been described to me is that you don't just turn "straight".. when you really want to pursue the christian life style you are basically giving that up as a sacrifice to god. Everyone has to give up some sort of sin...some are harder then others. There will most likely still be temptation there..but you draw strength from your faith.
Havent watched your videos: reason: far too unnecessarily long. Perhaps a summary video?
Anyway, I hear that you "still get tempted". Therefore, you are still homosexual/bisexual, you simply supress/repress that aspect of yourself. Repression is majorly linked to mental health disorders btw (a common criticizm of homosexuals).
Your reason for desired change from what I can gather is born entirely from irrational religious belief, rather than any rational assesment of the situation.
@Jamieishere1 Sin is sin. If I'm angry at you for raping my child I am tempted to want to kill you? Do I act on this urge? No. The question to ask is this: is homosexualaity sin? Does it grieve a Holy God who created us? Then, to answer this question you must believe or disbelieve the inerrancy of Scripture. There is absolute truth. Take gravity. It is a law we believe. Thus, when God declares in His Word that His Word has always been (Study John ch.1)you must reject Scripture as the authority.
@freedom12325 A "holy God" is a massively undefined statement couple of words. God's omnipotence for example is simply a clause that lets a believer answer "yes" to any question about whether or not their God could do something. God is unclearly defined, as is the idea of anything being "holy" and whether something being "holy" entitles it to respect and submission or not (and if so, for what reason).
I dont see the relevance of your murder analogy :s. I also dont get the scripture bit.
Dear Jamieishare1: Jesus is the Word (the bible). He always has been and always will be: Read John 1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and (D)the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."
@freedom12325 TEMPTATION IS NOT WRONG. JESUS WAS TEMPTED YET NEVER SINNED. YIELDING TO TEMPTATION IS SIN. JESUS WAS NOT A SINNER. HE WAS FREE..YET STILL TEMPTED. HE WAS ABLE TO DO THIS BECAUSE HE WAS FULLY GOD. Dennis Jernigan is merely a man. Fallen. But because the Holy Spirit indwells him because he is a new creation..at faith/baptism Dennis Jernigan became new. He is now identified with Christ. A new man. All sins..whether it's homosex..or theft..or lying..whtever..do not define him..
If i once was a heroine addict but get "clean" and several years later am tempted to do heroine. Does that make me a heroine addict now? Simple temptation does not define me..it's the fact that until heaven (or hell-if you are not washed in the Blood of Christ) every human struggles with the flesh. The temptation to flick someone off in traffic that cuts you off..or the urge to look lustfully at a beautiful body..these are matters of the heart. Only God can transform our hearts..thru the Word.
@freedom12325 Lust is not a sin. It is a naturally occuring element of human nature. It is an unfortunate irrationality in our nature but as it is innate and involuntary, it is not something we can justifiably be blamed for.
Again you seem to be presupposing that you have somehow grasped an objective standard/set of criteria of morality.... but you have still not defined it/described those criteria. You have also not responded to my previous comment. Just more unjustified condemnation.
@ocrstar ./writes a short book quickly stating a number of things.
Jamieishere1 chapter 1, verse 3: "lust is in no way immoral".
There we go. I have just provided a response that contains just as much well backed up argument, rationality and logic as your one.
If you disagree with my reasoning, please explain how. If you support a God who condemns aspects of a person that are no more voluntary than their skin, eye or hair color, let me know.
@Jamieishere1 Seems like you are reasoning from the viewpoint that scripture is irrelevant since you came up with your own chapter and verse from your own mind. When God speaks on an issue, that settles it. Whether you agree with it is irrelevant to its truth.
@ocrstar Not exactly, I am reasoning that scripture is irrelevant because there is 0 proof or even evidence that God exists, or that his nature is as it is specified within the Bible (or any other holy texts). For this reason, a book written by me has just as much validity as anything written in the bible.
Truth is derived from evidence. In the absence of it, there is no truth, only unsubstantiated speculation.
@ocrstar I dont know if this is a direct response to something I have said or if it is an argument for God's existence. To speak of design, implies a designer. It is unsurprising that this is a very prominent term within the english language however (relative to alternatives), due to the prevalence of the belief that the world was created (with no real alternative suggestions) by a God etc (Christianity used to be all the rage I believe). Another term that might be used instead could be
to refer to objects as having a structural or functional predisposition towards something. E.G. a knife has a structural predisposition towards cutting (though it could alternatively be used as a paperweight or for decoration for instance).
If you are instead using a design argument for God's existence. Then of course my responses include:
Evolution
and
The make up of the universe does not seem to provide any evidence in favour of God being as described within Christianity.
@ocrstar I dont know why your comment was marked as spam :s. Anyway, The bible is the source from which the nature of God is derived I believe (for Christians). It is derived directly from what it says about him and indirectly from the lessons conveyed in the various parables etc.
I do not see any great correlation between things I have experienced in life and any God's nature/personality. I have never heard of anybody demonstrating otherwise either.
@ocrstar In order to debate it properly though, you would first need to define the nature of God. Christians/the religious in general tend to have an aversion to doing so. To use an undefined word is to talk nonsense basically (literally actually), particularly in a serious debate.
Once God's nature was defined, you could try to find ways in which the world manifested (and contradicted) this nature. The Problem of evil = one big contradiction, for example.
@MamaMario13 I agree, except that I dont think religion is necessary for the positives it brings. It is also not necessary for the negatives it brings but is often such a strong motivator behind them that I am generally not a fan of it.
I especially dont think that one man's anecdotal experience of "freedom" from a highly stigmatized orientation is anything that can enable the drawing of strong conclusions about the flexibility of everyone's sexuality.
@freedom12325 With regards to a heroin addict. You seem to be claiming that the desire to commit evil is not evil, only doing so itself but this does not account for what you condemn as evil. While I think I would agree with you on this, this point is in no way a description of or justification for what, specifically, you consider to be immoral.
gays cant choose-heterosexuals cant choose-but bisexuals may, if they want to, but thats the truth. GOD LOVES ALL HIS HOMOSEXUALS AND HE-SHE DOESNT WANT U TO STOP BEING YOUR TRUE YOU. IF YOU DO, THEN YOUR SOUL STOPS GROWING.
What I am starting to beleive , is that as God had the Baylonians for a purpose , and taking the Jews into captivity, ws part of that purpose , he also has some sinners , who He says , he has abandoned to depraved minds , saved for destruction .
"Depart from iniquity " is not to be taken lightly, doesn't matter if it's the gay guy, or the adulterer who can't ( won't ) stop cheating .
This is very brave and bold of you in the current climate of militant homosexual aggressiveness. I applaud your honesty and creativity in bringing this message.
What advice is there for people out there struggling with heterosexuality? Those who don't want to be heterosexuality. I do not think this is who I am. I know there are many out there like myself.
If you're born gay, you're born gay. In the same way that if you're born straight, you're born straight. I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to understand...WHy would you want to believe in a god who doesn't condone a certain group of people? Isn't that prejudice? Why would you want to believe in a god who doesn't love everyone for being themselves?
@msiluvr666 Your very much right! But the Lord is not a God who hates ANY ppl. He says that he wishes that NONE should perish but all should have everlasting life. So I, as a Christian, do not believe in a god who condones a ppl, who is prejudice or who doesn't love everyone for being themselves. He loves us UNCONDITIONALLY. However, he despises sin. We are born in sin, BUT through grace we can come out of it. Just like some come out of alcoholism, drugs and homosexuality
@theonestep4 But see, how can you be "free" of something that you were born with and that you cannot change? Yes you can become free of alcoholism or drug addiction, but homosexuality is different than that. You aren't born an alcoholic, are you? You can't choose to be homosexual, and you certainly can't choose to "free" yourself of it. WIth the horrible ways people treat homosexuals, why don't they all try to "free" themselves? Why would they "choose" that? Exactly, they can't.
@msiluvr666 I appreciate your response! I have determined from the comments on this video that I cannot reveal anything to anyone nor burden their hearts. I, am convicted that only the Counselor can reveal truth; that homosexuality would lead me to be disconnected from God just as if I a put heterosexuality before him, My life is not chalked up to sexual orientation, but for me the only way to to follow God's ordain nature is by bearing fruit and raising them with a woman.
1Cr 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [fn6] effeminate, nor homosexuals, 1Cr 6:10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 1Cr 6:11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
Total behavior modification. I do not believe turning from homosexuality is something that is commanded by the scriptures. BUT i will say, Dennis is off the chain when it comes to music. Love it!
I don't really know how homosexuality works and all, but I have a couple gay friends, and based on what they told me, they are truly gay, and will have that attraction to the same gender as long as they live. But we are all sinners, and homosexuality is just one of the many sinful temptations there are.
@boomersooner2311, it is very UNFORTUNATE that despite the scientific AND biblical FACTS you people STILL on a quest to KILL AND DESTROY homosexuals. Just as how Jesus came in fulfillment of prophecies AND DESPITE His show of spiritual superiority He was still hated and judged and abused by so-called righteous man, who like today, had set up their own doctrines and simply because Jesus did not fulfill their standards, THEY crucified him! So I'm not surprised that us gays are persecuted also!
I do apologize......the text was 1 cor 6................I am not hear to debate God's law. How and God are with your sexuality is up to you........ I am here with the unpopular truth that sexual brokeness was buried at the cross and Jesus loves us and paid that price for us to be FREE..........not always happy or temptation-free but PEACEFUL!
Sexuality is understood in the context of what you believe about God.....In Acts it says " Such WERE some of you .......but you have been forgiven, washed and sanctified.." This was a list of failings people in the chuch had including homosexuality and that change is possible. Temptation is ALWAYS there ,but God took back our fate at the cross so we can Live and be ffree........Ex practicing Gay
Praise God for you !...I've struggled with homosexuality all the way to the transgendered lifestyle and God has loved me all the way out of it. I was ridiculed coming out and also when leaving ... so it's not important to even address other comments. I have decided like my brother that It only matters what the creator thinks when I stand before hime on that day. All you who struggle with anything contrary to God's word give it to him.."The battle is not ours.........It's the Lord's."
It's interesting to see how other people dealt with their attractions and the conflicts it caused with their beliefs. More power to you and I hope you're happy with your choice, I couldn't have gone through with it myself, I found that I couldn't be happy fighting who I was.
Thanks for uploading these videos, there isn't enough people who made the same choice as you who are willing to talk about it.
I have same sex attraction and I have decided that I want to live a heterosexual lifestyle. For one thing, I'm sick of the church and the homosexual community trying to force their opinions upon people such as me (see below for some common examples).
Congratulations on finding whatever it was you were looking for.
You were right with the line "we want to know we're loved". But I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world, and I AM loved.
I'm really sorry you didn't like yourself before, and I'm glad you like yourself now, but I don't share your religious views (I personally think Christianity is a ball of garbage and contradictions). But it seems to be working out for you, so good for you!
@Saboruto, I understand your view, but as a gay guy, one thing I know and that is Jesus is real and there is no contradictions about His love and His gospel. The contradictions lie in men who chooses to interpret scriptures in a way to justify their hate for others. There is NO WHERE in the bible God condemns gays, But we are told this by the church. That is why it is important to read God's word for oneself AND NOT rely on man's FALSE beliefs - Jesus was also a victim of man's doctrine!
What?! How do say its not scriptural? It says homosexuality is an abomination in the site of the Lord. He condemns sin which homosexuality is along with a lot of other things. I doin't believe any sin is a greater than another but u say is false doctrine.
@boomersooner2311, you seem to think two men having sex make them gay. SEX does not make someone gay, IT IS a man's or woman's INABILITY to be attracted to the opposite sex makes him/her gay. Many men have sex with other men NOT because they are attracted to other men BUT because of the lust of the flesh! When God said a man shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind HE could not be speaking to gay BECAUSE gays DO NOT go about sleeping with women, so that would CONTRADICT God's command!
@Kumtekmeon wow im pretty those commandments were for everyone. its pretty common sense but i guess thats too hard for u. keep tryin to justify it but dnt say u wasnt told when judgment comes.
@boomersooner2311, if you had read the bible HOW IT IS and QUIT trying to twist it to suit your LEARNT HATRED for others you wouldn't be in this predicament! There IS NO verse you can point to that says God condemns gays, AS YOU DO! To show you that I HAVE read the bible I will remind you that in Leviticus 18 God pointed to BAD HABITS that the Jews picked up in Canaan and Egypt - Homosexuality IS NOT a bad habit picked up. It is NOT learnt! If that's the case it wouldn't transcend cultures!
@Kumtekmeon You are full of lies, if a man sleeps with a man that means he is attracted to men. That makes him a homosexual, its all the same. See what you are trying to do is twist the word of god around, you want it to sound pleasent and legitimate. See what you do not understand is god see's all of us as sinners, gay , straight, bi , transexual is all man's invention.
@rotena, are you that naive to think that ALL MEN who have sex with men are homosexuals? Please do some research. There are some men who sleeps with other man NOT out of an attraction for that man BUT for other things, be it money, blackmail, promotion, or sexual orgy etc. Likewise some women have sex with men NOT because they are attracted to men BUT because they have another agenda. What determines a gay man is his LACK OF DESIRE for the opposite sex. No man chooses to find girls UNATTRACTIVE!
@Kumtekmeon The bible says man shall not lie with man as with a woman. The bible was referring to all men, what you are doing is trying to say god seperates gay men from stright men. And thats a lie, we are all men that do sinful things.
@rotena25, You stated earlier that sex is permitted in marriage. Therefore, for you to say God is speaking to ALL men means He is speaking to those outside of marriage. This contradicts your point as the statement God made is an active one. Do not have sex with a man AS you do with a woman. It is married men in God's eye who are expected to have sex. IF God was speaking to ALL MEN He would simply say Don not have sex with a man! Because how else can a man lie with a man?
@heatmanable, I pity you! Don't tell me to take medications, SHOW ME where I've gone wrong. As this man said, he has been put on countless 'medications' in an attempt to turn straight, did any of that work? NO! Because being gay is as natural as your stupidity. I pray God will grant you common sense.
@rotena25, as said before, If God was speaking to all men He would simply say, Do not have sex with other men, BUT to say as with a woman, speaks specifically to heterosexual men, because the basis of a gay man is his UNATTRACTIVENESS for the opposite sex. Which leads us back to Jesus' statement that some men were born eunuchs... For you to accept that God was speaking against gay men, you are making God out into a BIASED God because why didn't He also at that time speak against lesbianism?
Therefore, you need to understand who was God's audience. God was speaking to married men AND NOT to gay men. Jesus confirms this belief WHEN He declared that NOT ALL MEN were born to be with women! Jesus cannot contradict God because they are one in the same! So your belief that God is speaking to men in general in the Leviticus verse is WRONG. A gay man does not want to have sex with women, in many instances he is forced. You also need to query WHY God didn't address lesbian also?
kryp7on1t3 In Matthew 19 the Pharisees came to Jesus and asked him about marriage, after Jesus gave His opinion some of His disciples were dismayed and suggested that it'd be better if no man marry. Jesus in His response Matt 19:11-12 explained to them that His opinions are NOT directed at all men as some men were BORN eunuchs. Now if you know the meaning and history of eunuchs you will see that gays are the ONLY one who can be considered BORN EUNUCHS. The church has DELIBERATELY concealed this!
@Kumtekmeon Jesus was not referring to gays when he talked about eunuchs, he was referring to people born with genital disfigurment such as hermaphrodites etc. Jesus also said some are made themselves and others made that way by men. So are you saying gays made themselves gay and were made gay by others.
@rotena25, you obviously do not know how to read with understanding. You need to determine the context and subject matter Jesus spoke of. Eunuchs are historically men who are not in a position to have sex with women thus eliminating marriage. Therefore a castrated man, a man who believes in himself that he was 'called' to serve religiously AND a man who has no sexual attraction for women ARE EUNUCHS! A hermaphrodite does not fall in this as there is no proof they lack sex drives for women.
@Kumtekmeon And even if he were refering to gays, he said not ment to marry, and if you cannot marry then sex is out of the picture. Jesus was not talking about gays, so please stop decieving people.
@rotena25, Jesus was responding to a question stemming from the cultural norm of marriage. After declaring that some men were born not having the will to be with women, Jesus DID NOT go about what those men do among themselves. You are simply using your LEARNT BIASES to support your flawed premise. If a man has no sexual attraction for women BUT HAS for other men why then should he be forced to deny himself WHEN his disposition is INNATE? Please DO NOT put words in Jesus' mouth!!!
This is interesting...I wish i understood sexuality to the full extent...i'm gay, and i've known this for a while and at first i hated it but i learned to live with it becuz itz who i am...i honestly don't think you've "escaped" homosexuality...you just have taken control over it...you said urself, you still get tempted, which still shows you have homosexual desires...you just don't act on them, and i give you kudos for that!
I know "heterosexual" males that also have dealt with homosexual desires at some point in their life if not reoccuring. If you identify as a homosexual, then that is who you are. But that is letting fleshly desires define who you are rather than being defined as God could see you. His love is so great that He even sacrificed His own Son just so He could rescue us from own sin. You don't have to identify as a homosexual and God can cleanse you. You just have to accept Him and His love for you.
@FullofAwesomeness101 Being gay is not who you are. It is learned. No one is born gay. That is a lie Satan wants every person to believe. He is the father of lies. The truth is you chose a gay act at one point in time and fascinated your mind on that one act and continued forward and created patterns of behavior. All because of woundedness that you had. Come to Jesus, he will bear your wounds and your scars and your hurts and your fears. We were born into a fallen world. You must be born again!
@FullofAwesomeness101 there is nothing wrong with being homosexual or bisexual like me! dont hate it or push it away! its part of who u are,u shuld b happy, sumtimes it just takes sum1 of the same sex to understand u. ive found myself to b happier with girls like myself, and u shuld try to do the same if u rly want to. god loves u, it isnt a sin to love, and even if he beleives it is, he will always forgive u. embrace it! Does god rly want u to stop being who u kno u r?
I hope one day you see the real light dennis, that of human sensibility. As an artistic soul I am certain that one day you will see how you have been misled by man into thinking that god doesn't want you to be gay. Homosexuality is as natural as anything, to say it isn't is to say gods design is flawed, because he made you that way.
The saddest thing about 99.9% of 'believers', is that they have less real love for any 'god' than the majority of agnostics. They can call it whatever they like, but the only moral compass they have is the fear of hell if they do bad, and a desire to do good in order to go to heaven, thus removing all virtue from the act. By definition, atheists who do good things are closer to the teachings of Christ than any self proclaimed Christian, infinitely more holy.
I didn't come here with an agenda to mock you. All I believe is that you now honestly and truly do not feel feelings of attraction of men, then it is because you weren't gay to begin with; there is a difference between having homosexual tendencies, a lot of artistic, free and expressive people end up having gay experiences, I know some myself. Ok I just heard the part about temptation, therefore you are still homosexual, and are living a lie. God loves you being gay, why fight it.
and if you are say those are different struggles you are wrong. Having homosexual temptations is not a special "thing" God can save from all. If you say "that is who I am" what about someone who really has a hard time with their attraction for small children or those that can't help wanting every guy or woman they see. Do you really think their temptation is any less?
Your pretense to heterosexuality is a lie, that is what you should fight. You must remember that bible dogma is not purely spiritual absolutes, much of it is simply proto-political manifesto, hence the collusion between much dogma and practical sense i.e. regarding to hygeine, they made it into a 'holy' topic as they did not know about germs, so had to rationalise it in other ways. You are smarter than this people, open your eyes to the nature of these scriptures.
@ChristCountryRunner, you are being ridiculous. ALL those things you've listed are TRESPASSES. How does being gay trespass against another. Furthermore, NO ONE struggles with being a liar, thief etc. Persons lie and steal etc in order to advance their wicked nature and in some cases to escape certain situation. Have you ever heard of anyone being bullied in school for being a thief a liar etc? NO! But they are for being gay, black, short, freckle face etc ALL THESE are NATURAL and not by choice!
Thanks for sharing, Dennis. I look forward to viewing the rest of your postings. When you spoke of temptation at 2:05, it reminded me that being tempted isn't a sin; even Jesus Himself was tempted. Giving in to that temptation can lead to sin, but no matter how many steps we take toward that sin, it still only takes one step to turn back to God. Thanks, brother.
Jesus Himself stated He didn't know the time of His coming so stating a time fram is not an acurate statement however even though the scriptures are silent on an exact time it is full of signs to look for.I believe it really started when Jesus became sin so that we could be free when He hung on the cross for all of us,alwe have to do is believe...which is what faith is all about and of course choosing life over death you choose...It's not the end times it's the end of evil..we all have to choose
God is a Loving God He is also A just God and will not bend His word to fit into our image of Him.If you think Christians are narrow minded wait until you meet God.We are living in a time of Grace but there is coming a time when we will have to face the choices we have made and our time will have run out.
The only struggle you have with homosexuality is your failure to accept the way your creator made you. Maybe he made you to challenge the views many people have? What ever the reason, there is nothing wrong with you.
Like Ted Haggard, you struggle with accepting yourself. The bible says "know thyself"
and if you know yourself you will accept yourself and god.
For as long as we live we are gonna be tempted by the devil and his workers. I learned a long time ago that some people come into our life not for our good. This man has my total respect for what he is saying and how he is saying it. GOD Bless you sir because i know that there is nothing too hard for GOD and for those who confess with their mouth that they want freedom from homosexuality, GOD is faithful and will deliver all. Most ppl are too arrogant to humble themselves before GOD. Nice song.
When I came to Christ, one of my first convictions of the spirit was that I had to give up homosexual desires and seek only the love, acceptance and intimacy of the lord. One day I was an angry militant about homophobia and gay rights, the next day I had absolutely no interest in any of my old ways or desires.
If you preach to those suffering from homosexual desire that this is not sin, then I'm afraid you are keeping their souls captive, just like mine was.
Homosexuality is not a "desire" but a sexual orientation. Your distinction herein is both limited and loaded.
Where has "Jesus" ever said that His love, acceptance and intimacy is denied homosexuals?
And so you swing from being from an angry homosexual militant to the polarity opposite; a homosexual renunciate ~ how terribly predictable and cliched.
If you preach to those "suffering" . . . . This only further exposes your lack of acceptance, prejudice and judgement herein.
Jesus' love, acceptance and intimacy is denied to no-one. But while God loves us all, he doesn't necessarily condone all our actions. It is therefore flawed to claim that God loves homosexuals and arrest your argument for homosexuality there.
I have not once met a joyous or spiritually free person who was also engaged in a homosexual lifestyle (or, for that matter, any other form of sexual liberalism).
"I have not once met a joyous or spiritually free person who was engaged in a homosexual lifestyle"
urrockina ~ with deepest respect, you but just 22 years of age. Now exactly how many homosexuals have you intimately known in your short life-time I wonder to be making such a statement ~ as well as anyone who is always "joyous" and "spiritually free"?
This very statement of yours, only serves to further expose both your prejudice, immaturity and ignorance herein.
" I do consider myself to be free from homosexuality. Do I still get tempted? ~ sure, but you know what I leant a long time ago, temptation does not define who I am . . . "
Then Dennis, you are not free (as you put it) from homosexuality.
Homosexuality is not determined by sexual "action" but sexual "attraction".
Furthermore ~ just just as "temptation" does not determine who you / we truly are, neither does ones "sexuality", irrespective of ones orientation herein.
Thank you Dennis for sharing your incredible testimony of God's grace in your life. It takes courage..even in the church. I hope folks will open their hearts to the gift you are!
Changing ones sexual orientation is true! I used to be all about the pussy, but I reconsidered after seeing Bruno (men are just easier, thank you jeebus), and now I just cant get enough cock in my mouth....so dont just judge him, if he changed, so can you (either way)....well, off to the bathhouse! ;P
Yes, God does not hate gays but he hates what they do, and that is the act of homosexuality. Remember, when you think about deliberately sinning, you're already sinning.
Also...Homosexuality is not hatred against God it is hatred against one's own body. I didn't misquote the bible I simply stated it as it is written. And I never said it was the reason for any marriage to fail and I never used it as a scapegoat. My ex Father in law was gay and because of his sinning against his own body...he died of aids.
Because GOD said so...I believe in the Word of God and know it to be Truth. God hates homosexuality NOT homosexuals it was the homosexual that he died for...I am not preaching hate...I am preaching Hope and Freedom thru Jesus Christ who not only died for your sins but for all !!!
It doesn't deny his Love but it clearly states the God the Father cannot look upon sin, it clearly states in his word that homosexuality is Sin...Jesus died so that we can be freed from sin...that's why he died on the cross...it was for our sins he died...he CHOSE to die...he could have refused but he willingly died. He died so that we could have "Life and have it more abundantly"....FREEDOM to live a life that glorifies God and not ourselves.
thank you brother, that song has really ministered to me so much .When I felt that I couldn,t go on in the battle to fight ssa it reallty help me to put my trust back in the Lord Jesus Christ.. He is my victor If I continue to look to him.
God bless you brother! Thanks for sharing your story... People here are just angry cause they don't have your gifts nor your strength nor your courage.

The man appears to be genuinely content with the choices he has made and I wish him the best. If he is fronting, God will sort him out. God is mightier than the will of man. Even if one doesn't agree with the man's stance, that's no reason to vehemently react in such an indignant and crass manner.

KamensTV 7 months ago
@KamensTV "by their fruit you shall know them." you are not showing evidence of being any sort of proud Christian. for one thing, the Bible reveals the heart of God, and it is the basis of our present knowledge of what being Christian is, and who Christ is. second, this man's testimony is his honest story of what the God of the Bible has done in his life. Jesus can do all things, restore all things, through His love. change CAN happen and DOES happen, but people get in the way.
venom769 7 months ago
I am not tolerant of your bullshit. It is engrained in you who you love . It is not changeable. To the straight people: can you imagine yourself being "changed" to love people of your same sex? No, because it can't happen. This disgusting human being is in nothing but denial.
KamensTV 7 months ago
@KamensTV I had to repent of witchcraft and the occult. Maybe not a sexual issue, but still a lifestyle that totally encapsulated who I was, who my friends were, what I did, and what I loved. Now, to say that the choice to obey God was easy? HECK NO! I lost friends, I was tormented by the demons who sure wasn't going to just let me walk away from them, and I had to change what I believed or what I would embrace. But to endure it all was certainly worth it. THATS HOW MUCH I LOVE GOD.
Nauticalman 6 months ago

Learn it.

The only reason one struggles with homosexuality is because he is afraid of being someone that his family will not like. There will most likely still be temptation there..but you draw strength from your faith.
wettywettwettness 1 year ago
Havent watched your videos: reason: far too unnecessarily long. Perhaps a summary video?
Anyway, I hear that you "still get tempted". Therefore, you are still homosexual/bisexual, you simply supress/repress that aspect of yourself. Repression is majorly linked to mental health disorders btw (a common criticizm of homosexuals).
Your reason for desired change from what I can gather is born entirely from irrational religious belief, rather than any rational assesment of the situation.
Jamieishere1 1 year ago 2
@Jamieishere1 Sin is sin. If I'm angry at you for raping my child I am tempted to want to kill you? Do I act on this urge? No. The question to ask is this: is homosexualaity sin? Does it grieve a Holy God who created us? Then, to answer this question you must believe or disbelieve the inerrancy of Scripture. There is absolute truth. Take gravity. It is a law we believe. Thus, when God declares in His Word that His Word has always been (Study John ch.1)you must reject Scripture as the authority.
freedom12325 1 year ago
@freedom12325 A "holy God" is a massively undefined statement couple of words. God's omnipotence for example is simply a clause that lets a believer answer "yes" to any question about whether or not their God could do something. God is unclearly defined, as is the idea of anything being "holy" and whether something being "holy" entitles it to respect and submission or not (and if so, for what reason).
I dont see the relevance of your murder analogy :s. I also dont get the scripture bit.

Only God can transform our hearts..thru the Word.
freedom12325 1 year ago
@freedom12325 Lust is not a sin. It is a naturally occuring element of human nature. It is an unfortunate irrationality in our nature but as it is innate and involuntary, it is not something we can justifiably be blamed for.
Again you seem to be presupposing that you have somehow grasped an objective standard/set of criteria of morality.... but you have still not defined it/described those criteria. You have also not responded to my previous comment. Just more unjustified condemnation.

Jamieishere1 1 year ago
@Jamieishere1 Seems like you are reasoning from the viewpoint that scripture is irrelevant since you came up with your own chapter and verse from your own mind. When God speaks on an issue, that settles it. Whether you agree with it is irrelevant to its truth.
ocrstar 1 year ago 2
@ocrstar Not exactly, I am reasoning that scripture is irrelevant because there is 0 proof or even evidence that God exists, or that his nature is as it is specified within the Bible (or any other holy texts). For this reason, a book written by me has just as much validity as anything written in the bible.
Truth is derived from evidence. In the absence of it, there is no truth, only unsubstantiated speculation.

@Jamieishere1 Can we begin with the logic that every design must have a designer?
ocrstar 1 year ago
@ocrstar I dont know if this is a direct response to something I have said or if it is an argument for God's existence. To speak of design, implies a designer. It is unsurprising that this is a very prominent term within the english language however (relative to alternatives), due to the prevalence of the belief that the world was created (with no real alternative suggestions) by a God etc (Christianity used to be all the rage I believe). Another term that might be used instead could be
Jamieishere1 1 year ago
to refer to objects as having a structural or functional predisposition towards something. E.G. a knife has a structural predisposition towards cutting (though it could alternatively be used as a paperweight or for decoration for instance).

Evolution
and
The make up of the universe does not seem to provide any evidence in favour of God being as described within Christianity.

@Jamieishere1 You said, "The make up of the universe does not seem to provide any evidence in favour of God being as described within Christianity."
Can you explain that a little better? ie. why not?
ocrstar 1 year ago
@ocrstar I dont know why your comment was marked as spam :s. Anyway, The bible is the source from which the nature of God is derived I believe (for Christians). It is derived directly from what it says about him and indirectly from the lessons conveyed in the various parables etc.
I do not see any great correlation between things I have experienced in life and any God's nature/personality. I have never heard of anybody demonstrating otherwise either.
Jamieishere1 1 year ago
@ocrstar In order to debate it properly though, you would first need to define the nature of God. Christians/the religious in general tend to have an aversion to doing so. To use an undefined word is to talk nonsense basically (literally actually), particularly in a serious debate.
Once God's nature was defined, you could try to find ways in which the world manifested (and contradicted) this nature. The Problem of evil = one big contradiction, for example.

MamaMario13 1 year ago
@MamaMario13 I agree, except that I dont think religion is necessary for the positives it brings. It is also not necessary for the negatives it brings but is often such a strong motivator behind them that I am generally not a fan of it.
I especially dont think that one man's anecdotal experience of "freedom" from a highly stigmatized orientation is anything that can enable the drawing of strong conclusions about the flexibility of everyone's sexuality.
Jamieishere1 1 year ago
@freedom12325 With regards to a heroin addict. You seem to be claiming that the desire to commit evil is not evil, only doing so itself but this does not account for what you condemn as evil. While I think I would agree with you on this, this point is in no way a description of or justification for what, specifically, you consider to be immoral.

If you're born gay, you're born gay. In the same way that if you're born straight, you're born straight. I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to understand...WHy would you want to believe in a god who doesn't condone a certain group of people? Isn't that prejudice? Why would you want to believe in a god who doesn't love everyone for being themselves?
msiluvr666 1 year ago
@msiluvr666 Your very much right! But the Lord is not a God who hates ANY ppl. He says that he wishes that NONE should perish but all should have everlasting life. So I, as a Christian, do not believe in a god who condones a ppl, who is prejudice or who doesn't love everyone for being themselves. He loves us UNCONDITIONALLY. However, he despises sin. We are born in sin, BUT through grace we can come out of it. Just like some come out of alcoholism, drugs and homosexuality
theonestep4 1 year ago
@theonestep4 But see, how can you be "free" of something that you were born with and that you cannot change? Yes you can become free of alcoholism or drug addiction, but homosexuality is different than that. You aren't born an alcoholic, are you? You can't choose to be homosexual, and you certainly can't choose to "free" yourself of it. WIth the horrible ways people treat homosexuals, why don't they all try to "free" themselves? Why would they "choose" that? Exactly, they can't.

Saboruto 2 years ago
@Saboruto, I understand your view, but as a gay guy, one thing I know and that is Jesus is real and there is no contradictions about His love and His gospel. The contradictions lie in men who chooses to interpret scriptures in a way to justify their hate for others. There is NO WHERE in the bible God condemns gays, But we are told this by the church. That is why it is important to read God's word for oneself AND NOT rely on man's FALSE beliefs - Jesus was also a victim of man's doctrine!
Kumtekmeon 2 years ago
What?! How do say its not scriptural? It says homosexuality is an abomination in the site of the Lord. He condemns sin which homosexuality is along with a lot of other things. I doin't believe any sin is a greater than another but u say is false doctrine.
boomersooner2311 1 year ago
@boomersooner2311, you seem to think two men having sex make them gay. SEX does not make someone gay, IT IS a man's or woman's INABILITY to be attracted to the opposite sex makes him/her gay. Many men have sex with other men NOT because they are attracted to other men BUT because of the lust of the flesh! When God said a man shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind HE could not be speaking to gay BECAUSE gays DO NOT go about sleeping with women, so that would CONTRADICT God's command!
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon wow im pretty those commandments were for everyone. its pretty common sense but i guess thats too hard for u. keep tryin to justify it but dnt say u wasnt told when judgment comes.
boomersooner2311 1 year ago
@boomersooner2311, if you had read the bible HOW IT IS and QUIT trying to twist it to suit your LEARNT HATRED for others you wouldn't be in this predicament! There IS NO verse you can point to that says God condemns gays, AS YOU DO! To show you that I HAVE read the bible I will remind you that in Leviticus 18 God pointed to BAD HABITS that the Jews picked up in Canaan and Egypt - Homosexuality IS NOT a bad habit picked up. It is NOT learnt! If that's the case it wouldn't transcend cultures!
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon You are full of lies, if a man sleeps with a man that means he is attracted to men. That makes him a homosexual, its all the same. See what you are trying to do is twist the word of god around, you want it to sound pleasent and legitimate. See what you do not understand is god see's all of us as sinners, gay , straight, bi , transexual is all man's invention.
rotena25 1 year ago
@rotena, are you that naive to think that ALL MEN who have sex with men are homosexuals? Please do some research. There are some men who sleeps with other man NOT out of an attraction for that man BUT for other things, be it money, blackmail, promotion, or sexual orgy etc. Likewise some women have sex with men NOT because they are attracted to men BUT because they have another agenda. What determines a gay man is his LACK OF DESIRE for the opposite sex. No man chooses to find girls UNATTRACTIVE!
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon The bible says man shall not lie with man as with a woman. The bible was referring to all men, what you are doing is trying to say god seperates gay men from stright men. And thats a lie, we are all men that do sinful things.
rotena25 1 year ago

Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@rotena25, as said before, If God was speaking to all men He would simply say, Do not have sex with other men, BUT to say as with a woman, speaks specifically to heterosexual men, because the basis of a gay man is his UNATTRACTIVENESS for the opposite sex. Which leads us back to Jesus' statement that some men were born eunuchs... For you to accept that God was speaking against gay men, you are making God out into a BIASED God because why didn't He also at that time speak against lesbianism?
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
Therefore, you need to understand who was God's audience. God was speaking to married men AND NOT to gay men. Jesus confirms this belief WHEN He declared that NOT ALL MEN were born to be with women! Jesus cannot contradict God because they are one in the same! So your belief that God is speaking to men in general in the Leviticus verse is WRONG. A gay man does not want to have sex with women, in many instances he is forced. You also need to query WHY God didn't address lesbian also?
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon when did Jesus declare that not all men were born to be with women? i agree with you btw.
KrYp7on1t3 1 year ago
kryp7on1t3 In Matthew 19 the Pharisees came to Jesus and asked him about marriage, after Jesus gave His opinion some of His disciples were dismayed and suggested that it'd be better if no man marry.
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon hm. interesting. ill have to research that.
KrypTV 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon Jesus was not referring to gays when he talked about eunuchs, he was referring to people born with genital disfigurment such as hermaphrodites etc. Jesus also said some are made themselves and others made that way by men. So are you saying gays made themselves gay and were made gay by others.
rotena25 1 year ago
@rotena25, you obviously do not know how to read with understanding. You need to determine the context and subject matter Jesus spoke of. Eunuchs are historically men who are not in a position to have sex with women thus eliminating marriage. Therefore a castrated man, a man who believes in himself that he was 'called' to serve religiously AND a man who has no sexual attraction for women ARE EUNUCHS! A hermaphrodite does not fall in this as there is no proof they lack sex drives for women.
Kumtekmeon 1 year ago
@Kumtekmeon And even if he were refering to gays, he said not ment to marry, and if you cannot marry then sex is out of the picture. Jesus was not talking about gays, so please stop decieving people.
rotena25 1 year ago
@rotena25, Jesus was responding to a question stemming from the cultural norm of marriage. After declaring that some men were born not having the will to be with women, Jesus DID NOT go about what those men do among themselves. You are simply using your LEARNT BIASES to support your flawed premise. If a man has no sexual attraction for women BUT HAS for other men why then should he be forced to deny himself WHEN his disposition is INNATE? Please DO NOT put words in Jesus' mouth!!!

FullofAwesomeness101 2 years ago 4
I know "heterosexual" males that also have dealt with homosexual desires at some point in their life if not reoccuring. If you identify as a homosexual, then that is who you are. But that is letting fleshly desires define who you are rather than being defined as God could see you. His love is so great that He even sacrificed His own Son just so He could rescue us from own sin. You don't have to identify as a homosexual and God can cleanse you. You just have to accept Him and His love for you.
ChristInJeff 2 years ago 8
@FullofAwesomeness101 Being gay is not who you are. It is learned. No one is born gay. That is a lie Satan wants every person to believe. He is the father of lies. The truth is you chose a gay act at one point in time and fascinated your mind on that one act and continued forward and created patterns of behavior. All because of woundedness that you had. Come to Jesus, he will bear your wounds and your scars and your hurts and your fears. We were born into a fallen world. You must be born again!

AnthemicPolemic 2 years ago
The saddest thing about 99.9% of 'believers', is that they have less real love for any 'god' than the majority of agnostics. They can call it whatever they like, but the only moral compass they have is the fear of hell if they do bad, and a desire to do good in order to go to heaven, thus removing all virtue from the act. By definition, atheists who do good things are closer to the teachings of Christ than any self proclaimed Christian, infinitely more holy.
AnthemicPolemic 2 years ago
I didn't come here with an agenda to mock you. All I believe is that you now honestly and truly do not feel feelings of attraction of men, then it is because you weren't gay to begin with; there is a difference between having homosexual tendencies, a lot of artistic, free and expressive people end up having gay experiences, I know some myself. Ok I just heard the part about temptation, therefore you are still homosexual, and are living a lie. God loves you being gay, why fight it.
AnthemicPolemic 2 years ago
I am a liar...so "why fight it"
I am a thief...so "why fight it"
I am a adulterer...so "why fight it"
and if you are say those are different struggles you are wrong. Having homosexual temptations is not a special "thing" God can save from all. If you say "that is who I am" what about someone who really has a hard time with their attraction for small children or those that can't help wanting every guy or woman they see. Do you really think their temptation is any less?
ChristCountryRunner 2 years ago
Your pretense to heterosexuality is a lie, that is what you should fight. You must remember that bible dogma is not purely spiritual absolutes, much of it is simply proto-political manifesto, hence the collusion between much dogma and practical sense i.e. regarding to hygeine, they made it into a 'holy' topic as they did not know about germs, so had to rationalise it in other ways. You are smarter than this people, open your eyes to the nature of these scriptures.
1IDCallaghan 2 years ago

Thanks, brother.
jeffreypq29 2 years ago
Jesus Himself stated He didn't know the time of His coming so stating a time fram is not an acurate statement however even though the scriptures are silent on an exact time it is full of signs to look for.I believe it really started when Jesus became sin so that we could be free when He hung on the cross for all of us,alwe have to do is believe...which is what faith is all about and of course choosing life over death you choose...It's not the end times it's the end of evil..we all have to choose

When I came to Christ, one of my first convictions of the spirit was that I had to give up homosexual desires and seek only the love, acceptance and intimacy of the lord. One day I was an angry militant about homophobia and gay rights, the next day I had absolutely no interest in any of my old ways or desires.
If you preach to those suffering from homosexual desire that this is not sin, then I'm afraid you are keeping their souls captive, just like mine was.
urrockina 2 years ago
urrokina
Homosexuality is not a "desire" but a sexual orientation. Your distinction herein is both limited and loaded.
Where has "Jesus" ever said that His love, acceptance and intimacy is denied homosexuals?
And so you swing from being from an angry homosexual militant to the polarity opposite; a homosexual renunciate ~ how terribly predictable and cliched.
If you preach to those "suffering" . . . . This only further exposes your lack of acceptance, prejudice and judgement herein.
AwakeToTheMystery 2 years ago
Jesus' love, acceptance and intimacy is denied to no-one. But while God loves us all, he doesn't necessarily condone all our actions. It is therefore flawed to claim that God loves homosexuals and arrest your argument for homosexuality there.
I have not once met a joyous or spiritually free person who was also engaged in a homosexual lifestyle (or, for that matter, any other form of sexual liberalism).
urrockina 2 years ago
urrockina -
"But while God loves us all, he doesn't necessarily condone all our actions. It is therefore flawed to claim that God loves homosexuals."
You have given absolutely NO supporting evidence / proof herein that God does not condone the actions of homosexuals ~ have you? No.
It is rather YOUR nonacceptance and prejudice that passes judgement on homosexuals herein.
Find me one single sentence where Jesus has ever said / written that homosexuality is a sin against God. Just ONE.
AwakeToTheMystery 2 years ago
As for ~
"I have not once met a joyous or spiritually free person who was engaged in a homosexual lifestyle"
urrockina ~ with deepest respect, you but just 22 years of age.
