I guess the problem with this river is that there are too many populations drawing on this one water resource. Ultimately, the inescapable conclusion that human populations must be reduced. Fewer people mean that natural resources, like rivers and all that survive on them, will have a chance to continue.
I wonder how we could get more people to see this film. This subject of the colorado is a tragedy - but water "management" is beginning to be in meltdown. The only way to restore harmony is by letting the river flow to the sea again. It simply isn't a matter of choice - it is about whether we survive or not. In all honesty the hoover dam wasn't a great victory over nature - it was a crime against once of the most important wetland deltas in the world. It was simply erased.
