They are the same size as originally came on that machine. They sit away from the tub because the machine has a custom suspension modification. A two stroke engine needs a VERY different style of exhaust than a car/truck or any 4-stroke or Diesel. This isn't my machine BTW, I have a couple, but none with suspension.
@OLDSCHOOLHHSEX Not sure how those resemble skateboard rims? Those are pretty much standard style rim on all 6-wheelers. Not sure if you're aware, but you don't use any sort of sidepipe exhaust on a 2-stroke. Dual tuned pipes maybe, but straight pipes or sidepipes would perform like crap.
@JFinne9 Well,the rims did look kinda small compared to some of the other 6X6 ARGO type vehicles,Maybe someone switched out stock rims for Larger treads(deeper dish) ATV rims,but for the exhaust,the shortened dualie mufflers Fat Stacks Ehaust in back would be customzed for the LOOKS. If the 6WD was set up right with a full body,those pipes could also serve dual purpose as a heater ;) Ah know it can get cold up in the mountains
