4:14 And whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger and transgresseth His limits, He will make him enter Fire, where he will dwell for ever; his will be a shameful doom. you mean this
all behind the struggles and wars of human through history is caused bythe limited resources that people can't equally share with each other someone have more than others then someone upset and goes on goes on and then they against each other
There are so many different versions of 'Truth' that it can be confusing. However, I believe that peace is the only truth, religion or no religion. Those in power like to use organized religion as a tool to get the masses obeying them. Religion itself is not bad. The holy books themselves are books of symbols which use graphic imagery to show people the right way. The problem is, people take them too literally. Rationality and religion are not exclusive.
i cant belive this video hasnt had more views, more people need to wake up to this.i won the lottery being raised in a secular society.also i will let you of with "colors"i knew that americans spelt it diferently, kicked of quite the debate didnt it.
Stick it fucktard, You act like religion and science are on equal playing fields. They aren't. One deals with facts, one deals with faith. TERRORISTS happen to be from the faith camp. Religion is the antithesis of reality.
Science and religion are mutually exclusive. You do not need faith, when you have facts, do not confuse the two.
Really powerful, but I believe it is prudent to note that this problem is not one confined to religion and that religion is usually not defined by it. Religion has helped humanity in many ways (charitable non-profit organizations, outreach programs, a sense of community and morals, hope for those in despair). Religion is like any human ideology; it can be perverted into something bad by fear and hate. Communism resulted in similar dogmatism, and that was strictly atheist. Still worth watching...
Communism in the very beginning was actually a very noble idea (if you study its philosophy)It was not until Lenin and Stalin came to power that their ideologies were posioned. Communist leaders made use of religion(Stalin reopened many orthidox churches)And had their people worship them as Divine. Bolshevism became a religion, establishing what they called "The living church" which "fufilled the ideals of the kingdom of God". Claiming "infallibility and the only true way to salvation."
It is that totalitarian authority factor which is dangerous, but unfortunately this is present in many organized western religions. People often don't understand the difference between "spirituality" and "organized religion"
I agree, Communism was a very a noble idea, tho I didn't kno about Stalin's use of Bolshevism as a religion. I am btw agnostic and not defending religion for my own beliefs. I agree that extremism in any form is dangerous. I also think that the vast majority of religous ppl on this earth are benign and that such hate and violence isn't inherent in religion. Hating terrorists in return will achieve nothing. I was reacting to the attitudes of baddogma rather than to the impressive video.
Ahh I see, I agree completely that most religious individuals are benign. In fact the radical islam we see in the middle east only makes up about 1% of the muslim populace.
But I think where the problem lies and ultimately where judeo-christian belief systems fail, is their polar doctrine. Something is either good or it is evil. You accept Jesus or you don't.The Bible is the absolute word of God, and so fourth. This nature of absolutes conditions the mind to think as such. So it's no surprise when President Bush makes a statement to the world like: "You are either with us or against us" The only real spiritual practice today which doesn't seem to do this is Buddhism
How do reason, logic and science stand a chance when the world is filled with the faithful? Religion is pure evil. It may be the doom of our species. Faith is simply glorified ignorance.
Fundamentalist Islam and Fundamentalist Christianity have more in common than either side would like to acknowledge. Nice to have that shown so clearly. The most sickening part is how they both use and abuse children. Absolutely disgusting.
Sadly, the poster and authors of that video should be careful, they'll be receiving death threats soon enough.
This was amazing, both in the good way and the bad way, and both in content and construction. I loved the juxtaposition of the different cultures' radicals, the back-to-back editing really highlighted the lack of difference between them. Especially when you compare that with what was conspicuously absent from your film: any footage of radicalism coming from the Jews (a group that several others were calling for the destruction of).
A great video wrapped in amazing animation skills.

4:10 Lo! Those who devour the wealth of orphans wrongfully, they do but swallow fire into their bellies, and they will be exposed to burning flame.
this is a correction for your lie at 05:21
marid9000 1 year ago
@marid9000 The passage number is a typo, see 4:14. So no, it is not a lie. Though I appreciate you pointing out the error.
