  • @Pulsationz first things first i guess..... not to mention when someone comes up with something really cool ... he usually sells it ... then it gets put on a shelf somewhere ..... watch "who killed the electric car" there is confirmation of what i say

  • So it uses the metal as a kind of diaphgragm?

Is this the future of speakers?

I heard about Rodin-Coils, also saw one of his videos her on youtube about the mathematics behinds this coil.

  • Awesome! which coil design did you use? ive tried the original a few times and had good results but nothing too serious. also what is the impedence on that coil? im trying to find the best design for the coil itself and then im going to attempt to put a diaphragm on one of these because ive noticed that it takes much more power to get the same volume than a traditional speaker. are you experiencing this as well? once i get that down id love to do a 3 way crossover boy would that be beautiful

  • This has the Best bass and clearest sound of all so far and I have heard HUNDREDS.

  • Nice Wrap My Brotha! And

YO! Pulsationz, inventions make it possible for people like you to have clothes, chairs, computers, and yes, --and this the key -- "DIAPHRAGM -LESS++++speakers WOWZERZ Pulsationz, but, the point is... THIS THING IS A : speaker, blender, thruster, vacuum, blower, FAN FOR COMPUTERS with hardly any energy! Abd its FREE FREE- FREEEEE Peace!

PS> you will hear of MEDINI/RODIN devices Very soon. Peace

  • Nice Wrap My Brotha!

  • is that a block of aluminum? If you can do this I can't wait until someone does some real experiments with quartz...

  • @haeresy i think it's a neo magnet a BIG one that's what he used in his other videos

  • also whats the bass like? would you benefit from putting the coil in a cabinet, like a sub box ?

Any special electronics used, or just connected like a normal speaker woul be?

  • @darrenbennett44 It's just connected to the amp like a normal speaker . The base is impressive it's a bit strange to hear the base because you can't see anything move or vibrate. A larger coil with more winds would be better though however it would take a long time to make.

  • @jumpinmycar So... What if you built a BIG one..? Like, really, really big? Does there seem to be any limit to when it should stop working because of size/distance between the edges?

  • this makes no sense - what is moving the air?

  • how much volume can you get? could it be developed into a p.a size speaker?

  • @darrenbennett44 it's hooked up to an 80Watt Hifi seperates amp It can go up to full volume but it starts to get too hot too quickly. As for could it be made into a p.a. speaker, sure, why not. Just need two things, time and materials.

  • GREAT JOB!!!!!!! 100000000000000000 STARS!

  • Which is the cone?

Is it just the 2 colors of tape as "the cone"?

  • @tigerbody69 The sound is coming from the centre of the hole in the toroid. .... I had to use yellow tape because I ran out of green :)
