when you went into the settings to shut Location Services "off" (to increase the length of the battery), what does "Location Services" do? Why also would you want to shut Wi fi off? Is it better to shut it off then if you go into a wi fi area, turn it on? Thanks! (I know this is 2 years old, but it does apply to even the newer ipods). I just got the new iTouch with Facetime. Trying to learn all the features.

all 2g ipod touchs have loose corners due to apple relocating the screws to making it thinner so you shouldnt have replaced ur ipod... aw well me and my friends all have loose corners on our ipods and it is not defective

Hard to manage files, and can not use as file storage, can not create my own folder!. WTF. I bought 32GB ipod and can not even use it as file storage purpose. if you use apps get the 3rd gen 32gb. the 8gb isnt a 3rd gen, its a 2nd gen. but if you use apps, dont get a touch. and youtube comes with the ipod touch. why mention the first gen?? thats complete crap. the ipod touch is meant for apps, and playing them. get a nano 5th, which they are selling right now.
