A creative solution but is this the really only way to remotely trigger the shutter on an EPL-1? I don't count built-in shutter timer option.

That's terrible... I can see the shake from over here. Probably better of pressing it with the finger

It is solid rock stable when you have use with the tripod, I just place the camera on the table so it will shake by the shutter release wire's tension.

@Johnlauhk2008 sorry but this still produces unacceptable amounts of vibration.
For example, the mirrors in SLRs/DSLRs don't produce visible shake as much as this but they still produce enough vibrations to blur images. That is _regardless_ of how good the tripod is... not sure why you think things would be different here.
