hold ur pick so that your thumb is juttin out a little. as you pluck the string your thumb should touch it to make the pinch harmonic

@apeagent2 no need to palm mute just lightly put ur finger on the string without applying pressure and when u strike the strings the string u r lightly touching will have no sound and appear to sound muted.

For the Power chords... Some of them are just hold down the low D a and d strings and play it like on 8 hold down all three but some are a fret split like 5 on the a string and 7 on the d and g strings you will have to watch for those.... as for the pinch harmonics there are tutorials on how to do that they are rather difficult in my opinion but look up "pinch harmonics" and you should find some videos on youtube.... sorry for my terrible punctuation but hey its the internet lol

It needs to be in drop D, or else it will sound like shit if you try to play like the video says. The first three notes are two drop D's and then a D that's an octave higher, but I guess you can tranpose everything up a whoel step, but have fun doing that, it'd take longer to transpose than it would to tune your E to a D

you probably already found this out, your comment was a month ago, but for other people who are wondering, for the harmonic powerchord, play it like this

The x means you just hang one of your fingers ontop of the string, without pressing down, meaning the string doesn't sound. This gives a kind of fuller sound to the note on the 5th fret, without being a powerchord.
