Your belief that we can drill out of the situation only with additional leases for the oil companies ignores the fact that there are 68 million acres of undrilled leases already awarded that the oil companies are already sitting on. Obama's healthcare plan is not a single payer system & it is much better than McCain's plan which would take the tax incentives away from my employer who pays $10,000+ of my premium. I have researched this, and continue to do so. The statement is a correct one. Wealth distribution is socialism. Centralized government that controls every aspect of your life is socialism. Trade in your public school education for a real one and learn how to research for yourself.
Had you researched it thouroughly, you would realize that Wealth distribution under a socialist system is not what either candidate argues for, unless you consider all taxation as a redistribution of wealth, then we already live in a socialist society. Niether candidate is arguing for a centralized government that controls every aspect of your life either. It seems to me, that if I need to trade in my public education for a "real one" then you should ask for a refund on the one you paid for!

That's mostly correct. His father was a practicing Muslim for a time, but his views changed after awhile. There's nothing wrong with being Muslim, but it's definitely not an inherited faith like Judaism in the traditional sense.

With regards to Pelosi. She did a great job in rounding up the votes for the first bailout bill as you can see below but Mccain failed miserably in uniting the Republicans which is why the bill failed.
In all, 65 Republicans joined 140 Democrats in voting "yes," while 133 Republicans and 95 Democrats voted "no."

Yeah I listened to his whole speech at Democratic Convention and all I heard were generalities and cleche's. I swear, its like he's running for high school class president. I get the feeling he's just telling people what they want to hear. He has no specific plan just a bunch of speeches and feel good music that make the democrats all warm and fuzzy inside. George Washington's plans were based on a hope that one day his country would be free. There was no guarantee that he was going to win the revolutionary war but he changed his strategy and changed how things were done in the past to help build the foundation for what is the greatest country in the world. World definitely does cycle from cool to hot. So lets say our impact as a species on global warming is a hoax, Our effects negligible. Worst case scenario is that we learn to function free of fossil fuels, which are finite in nature and doomed to rise in price until they dwindle to an end. Not only does this prepare us for the future, but it also prepares us to be independent of foreign oil.

Tell us what Reagan did.. Tell us how he lowered taxes, and increased spending, driving our federal debt up at the highest rate up to that point in our history. Bush 43 continued that trend, until Clinton turned it around, boosted GDP while cutting spending in relation to it. Then GW 43 came in, reversed the trend in a whiplash fashion and DOUBLED the debt.

Do you know that there is 68 million acres of water/land that is still not developed by the oil companies? He is for drilling my friend but why must the oil companies get more leases to fragile water if they havent't used the previous ones? that is why he voted for a use it or lose it plan so that the oil companies start drilling in the deep water for oil or lose there lease. Does that sound like someone that is against developing energy?

he has called for a phased withdrawal with timetable and redeployment as necssesary to A-stan. McCain does want to alter healthcare, he wants to do away with the employer based system and go to a total private system. I would prefer fair trade to free trade. This video gave me alot of hope and I hope to see that Obama takes the presedency. I dont know whats Obamas plans for immigration but I hope that he comes up with a plan for illegal immigrants like myself to get their citizenship.I was brought here when I was five and been here since 95. Hopefully he'll come up with one by next year because I'll be starting college soon and I'll need a job to pay off my tuition.He would've had my vote but since I cant I will encourage others to vote for him.

He is a great role model for kids today that don't have the proper guidance because of their unfortunate circumstances. Your belief that we can drill out of the situation only with additional leases for the oil companies ignores the fact that there are 68 million acres of undrilled leases already awarded that the oil companies are already sitting on. Obama's healthcare plan is not a single payer system & it is much better than McCain's plan which would take the tax incentives away from my employer who pays $10,000+ of my premium. McCain is running towards Obama's position on Iraq and Afghanistan..

The economy traditionally does better under a dem, look at the history of the Dow, federal debt, and govt spending to gdp ratio. You say there is an "America has been bad" mindset? I have researched this, and continue to do so. The statement is a correct one. Wealth distribution is socialism. Centralized government that controls every aspect of your life is socialism. Trade in your public school education for a real one and learn how to research for yourself.

Had you researched it thouroughly, you would realize that Wealth distribution under a socialist system is not what either candidate argues for, unless you consider all taxation as a redistribution of wealth, then we already live in a socialist society. Niether candidate is arguing for a centralized government that controls every aspect of your life either. It seems to me, that if I need to trade in my public education for a "real one" then you should ask for a refund on the one you paid for!
