I was looking for the footage of your 2nd and 3rd fasts, but found only the final days. - The 1st fast with the video for each day was very informative, and I couldn't help but feel concerned for you, even though it was already over and you had obviously done fine. ^^ - There're other techniques to do WHILE fasting to get close to your God.
She's forgetful, excessively emotional -- and definitely time to stop. I think it's become less like the Lord and more like proving something to herself (or others). And by the way, Anorexia is all about "control" -- which is what she's proud of - "more control." There is a type of fasting that is pure, unadulterated fruits and vegetables, and believe me, it ain't nachos!

Although we are very good parents, and our children are extremely well cared for...our local Children's Aid Society investigated us, because of the potential risk that I was putting my children in (passing out...or maybe DYING in front of them)I am a recovering anorexic..and I have seen too many die from starvation..one girl,,,who only starved herself for less than 6 weeks....

you probably know more than I, but i've been looking up lots of fasting stuff lately, and most places talked about easing out of a fast so that you don't shock your digestive system.
people have died from simply eating regular hard to digest foods (apparently). some places even recommended getting doctors to feed you through IV before even venturing into juices. anyways, congradulations!!! and good luck.

And from here out don't tell people when you are fasting because GOD said we not tell people when we fast and pray this way HE will give us a GREAT reward. @texasauthor1 don't applaud someone for starving themselves. I'm sure that God would much rather she spend her time helping others rather than focusing all her energy on getting closer to God through starvation. Those who ARE indeed close to God..who spend time listening to the messages they get..know that this is NOT what God wants. She feels more emotional because her electrolytes are messed up...and she doesn't seem to care that she will end up leaving 7 kids with no mother.

@IWannabeJew you are absolutely right. I had an eating disorder, and was starving myself. Although we are very good parents, and our children are extremely well cared for...our local Children's Aid Society investigated us, because of the potential risk that I was putting my children in (passing out...or maybe DYING in front of them)I am a recovering anorexic..and I have seen too many die from starvation..one girl,,,who only starved herself for less than 6 weeks....

I know of someone who religiously fasts each friday and sunday. Perhaps that would be a safer way to accomplish your goal of increasing your spirituality.

are you sure you can just dive right into something like steak and nachos?
you probably know more than I, but i've been looking up lots of fasting stuff lately, and most places talked about easing out of a fast so that you don't shock your digestive system.
people have died from simply eating regular hard to digest foods (apparently). some places even recommended getting doctors to feed you through IV before even venturing into juices. anyways, congradulations!!! and good luck.
