You don't use the same technique to break a dozen bricks in kenpo that you would use in a fight...nor would you flourish your bo staff around like a wushu demo team does if you were using it to defend yourself. The jogo de capoeira is not at all the same as the luta de capoeira! If you've been training for 10 years you know that already though. ;P
I have to admit, I've been training Capoeira for over 10 years, and I really didn't see much Capoeira in this fight. Except for at the beginning when he was playing for the cameras. But that's it.
I don't get it, I think this fight was overrated the opponent was lighter in muscle mass and it more looked like he just overpowered the little dude by brute force, not by skill.

but any way great fight if you think it with mma seriously screw fancy moves from capueira and use only that what is usefoul take examples from the best like bas rutten and fedor emilienko
