These fires are not new. They seem to happen every summer. Also why did they use kilometers we don't use the metric system in the us. The real problem is tree huggers who will not let trees get cut down. Selective cutting would have gotten rid of that undergrowth that is fueling these fires
Is it just me or are those planes dropping jet fuel on the fires. I've worked around planes before and the fuel dropped by those planes look very similar to jet fuel. Maybe they want the fires to spread so the big wigs can sell a few newspapers.
