So to say that KH2 would have been fine without Kairi; Sora's promise to Kairi played a key emotional role for Sora throughout the game and without the emotionally aspect Kingdom Hearts would be much diminished and, sorry, but neither Riku NOR Sora is homosexual.

Also at 1:46 since Disney or Square Enix made her so skinny that she could have easily slipped right threw the bars! Lastly, at 2:01 she jumped off the balcony (that was like a couple of stories) she didn't break her legs! LOL!!!! SO they all made Kairi to perfect!

i agree with animeroxursox. Kairi's too perfect. What pisses me off is that the creator desperately tries to make her seem as "important" as possible throughout the series. She serves an actual purpose in kh; her Nobody, Namine, serves a better purpose; however, in kh2, there was no reason for her to be apart of the main story sequence. Sora could've just saw her at the very end of the game. Giving her a keyblade is only proof that the creator was desperate to make her "important".

To be honest... It's not Kairi I hate... it's NAMINE I hate! Think about it! From COM to 358/2 Days to KH2, she was the cause of all the trouble. If it wasn't for her screwing with SOra's memories in the first place, none of that would've happened. Her excuse isn't good either. It's just "If I don't obey Marluxia, he'll get me grounded and I'll be lonely!"
@TheRPGPlayer But if you think about it Namine only did that because of the Organization. she had none of Kairi's memories to go by and as such just did what she was told by her captors. in my opinion Namine isn't as bad as Kairi because she fixed what she broke, Kairi never fixed anything, she just sits back and waits for Sora or RIku to fix it or just do ALL the work.
Namine's only excuse was "They said if I didn't mess with your memories, they'll ground me!" It's the excuse of a child. And on her way of "fixing" stuff, she screwed up more stuff along the way.
Now I don't see what it is that Kairi "broke" that she ever needed to fix. Namine screwed up nearly all of Sora's friends as well as Roxas and Xion. I don't recall Kairi doing anything like that.

What? Namine DID have memories, what are you talking about? The only Nobody who didn't have their memories was Roxas. All the other nobodies remember their time as somebodies, even Namine. So no, that doesn't help her situation at all.

Yes I read the Ansem Reports. They didn't say anything about her memories. They said she was a special nobody because she can mess with memories and she was created in a special way but it never mentioned anything about her having no memories.

Terra is dead. D.E.A.D. His body was taken over by Xehanort and then Sora killed both the heartless AND the nobody of the resulting pair. So he's pretty much gone. I'm 95% sure that him saying "Sora" in the secret ending of BBS, along with Axel and Xion saying it, was all Namine's doing and was no indication that Sora would save them, they're already dead.
So naturally... Ven, Sora, and Riku are the only ones left for her to pursue. I'm hoping that she's gonna end up with Ven if she brings him back.
Sora has Ven's heart and last time he had another heart in him, he had to REMOVE it by becoming a heartless to put it back inside them (*cough*Kairi's heart from KH1*cough*Sora stabs himself with possessed Riku's keyblade*cough*). So I'm pretty sure if Aqua REALLY wants Ven back, she's gonna have to remove his heart from Sora somehow.
And I don't think Sora and co. are gonna be too happy about that. If Aqua has to *GASP*kill Sora*GASP* or something to get Ven's heart back (Like how Riku tried to get Kairi's heart from him), I'm pretty sure Riku wouldn't want to date his best friend's murderer.
Perhaps (I say "perhaps" because I don't really know if there's another way to get back Ven) the only way she would actually be able to be a couple with Sora or Riku is if she gave up on Ven, which I STRONGLY doubt is going to happen.

3. This one is probably your strongest point. And it would have done good if you included more scenes of Kairi's lack of caring towards Riku. Such as the scene where Sora's worrying his head about Riku and Kairi so nonchalantly says, "I'm sure he's just fine." despite Ansem taking over Riku's body and whatnot. But, I digress. Don't wish to annoy the Kairi fans, now would I? ;D
1. Kairi didn't do anything to turn Riku and Sora against each other. That was really all on their own. Maleficent may have tricked Riku into believing that Sora abandoned himself and Kairi, but still. That wasn't Kairi's fault to begin with.
2. Yes, Kairi does get in the way. And she has minimal fighting skills. But that's more so because she stood off to the side of the islands and did nothing instead of play sword-fighting with Sora and Riku like the other children.
#1 isn't true. Maleficent made Riku jealous of Donald and Goofy. So if it's her fault.
"Are they important to you? More important than old friends?" Riku saw Sora couldn't care less about him so he might as well use Kairi to get Sora to feel jealous :D

Well, sorry to crush your dreams but Riku/Sora are never gonna happen. I don't think Square Enix would publicly do that. I don't think they'll ever make Sora and Kairi or Riku and Kairi get together either.

i agree with animeroxursox. Kairi's too perfect. What pisses me off is that the creator desperately tries to make her seem as "important" as possible throughout the series. She serves an actual purpose in kh; her Nobody, Namine, serves a better purpose; however, in kh2, there was no reason for her to be apart of the main story sequence. Sora could've just saw her at the very end of the game. Giving her a keyblade is only proof that the creator was desperate to make her "important".

To be honest... It's not Kairi I hate... it's NAMINE I hate! Think about it! From COM to 358/2 Days to KH2, she was the cause of all the trouble. If it wasn't for her screwing with SOra's memories in the first place, none of that would've happened. Her excuse isn't good either. It's just "If I don't obey Marluxia, he'll get me grounded and I'll be lonely!"

Namine's only excuse was "They said if I didn't mess with your memories, they'll ground me!" It's the excuse of a child. And on her way of "fixing" stuff, she screwed up more stuff along the way.
Now I don't see what it is that Kairi "broke" that she ever needed to fix. Namine screwed up nearly all of Sora's friends as well as Roxas and Xion. I don't recall Kairi doing anything like that.

Terra is dead. D.E.A.D. His body was taken over by Xehanort and then Sora killed both the heartless AND the nobody of the resulting pair. So he's pretty much gone. I'm 95% sure that him saying "Sora" in the secret ending of BBS, along with Axel and Xion saying it, was all Namine's doing and was no indication that Sora would save them, they're already dead.

So naturally... Ven, Sora, and Riku are the only ones left for her to pursue. I'm hoping that she's gonna end up with Ven if she brings him back.
Sora has Ven's heart and last time he had another heart in him, he had to REMOVE it by becoming a heartless to put it back inside them (*cough*Kairi's heart from KH1*cough*Sora stabs himself with possessed Riku's keyblade*cough*). So I'm pretty sure if Aqua REALLY wants Ven back, she's gonna have to remove his heart from Sora somehow.

And I don't think Sora and co. are gonna be too happy about that. If Aqua has to *GASP*kill Sora*GASP* or something to get Ven's heart back (Like how Riku tried to get Kairi's heart from him), I'm pretty sure Riku wouldn't want to date his best friend's murderer.
Perhaps (I say "perhaps" because I don't really know if there's another way to get back Ven) the only way she would actually be able to be a couple with Sora or Riku is if she gave up on Ven, which I STRONGLY doubt is going to happen.

I comment the second time, but this bothers me: They could have made a good, female character, for the third Keyblade that can fight. It would be great, if there would be one, she could meet Sora and look for her friends, too. (and is a yaoi-fangirl xD) And one with a strong personality. With attitude and a goddamn brain. 3. This one is probably your strongest point. And it would have done good if you included more scenes of Kairi's lack of caring towards Riku. Such as the scene where Sora's worrying his head about Riku and Kairi so nonchalantly says, "I'm sure he's just fine." despite Ansem taking over Riku's body and whatnot. But, I digress. Don't wish to annoy the Kairi fans, now would I? ;D
In any sense, this is made of win. :D

1. Kairi didn't do anything to turn Riku and Sora against each other. That was really all on their own. Maleficent may have tricked Riku into believing that Sora abandoned himself and Kairi, but still. That wasn't Kairi's fault to begin with.
2. Yes, Kairi does get in the way. And she has minimal fighting skills. But that's more so because she stood off to the side of the islands and did nothing instead of play sword-fighting with Sora and Riku like the other children.

#1 isn't true. Maleficent made Riku jealous of Donald and Goofy. So if it's her fault.
"Are they important to you? More important than old friends?" Riku saw Sora couldn't care less about him so he might as well use Kairi to get Sora to feel jealous :D
#2 Seeing those scenes in Japanese made me gag worse than when I saw them in English :( I hate her Japanese voice.
#3 All the way again.
I HATE the "take the raft and go" scene. Nice to see she CARES about Riku.

It is. The yellowish Sora-Riku scenes are from when Sora locks Riku behind the door, and then these flash, showing they really are best friends.
