If you got this thing working since 2004 then why must we pay the Russians to carry folks to and from the space station? Is it another hollywood performance? Or what is the next step? How can you just drop the ball and not return to this subject?
@billbitt96 I believe they have not dropped the ball but are actually working on the SpaceShipTwo. I hope they continue as NASA, EAS and Russians are doing everything at a snail's pace. We need someone from the private sector to really kick them up the arse. Otherwise we may never see a man on mars in our lifetime. I'm still unconvinced NASA will able to do what they say in the time frame they've set.
I was watching this on Discovery channel and it went to commercial just after the spin started. I hopped on here real fast to see what heppened before the show came back on lol LOL! :P
That "unplanned" roll was insane. Totally equal to the Wright brothers, Goddard, Sputnik, Yuri Gagarin, Apollo, the Shuttle, etc. When do I get my turn ???
After seeing this, I am truly convinced that NASA should get out of the manned orbital spaceflight business completely, and turn it all over to the likes of Burt Rutan, Richard Branson, and all the others who will offer it all the general public.
