not sure which would be easier. With a wrong-hand-drive car (lhd on left or rhd on right) you're used to the driving position, but you're driving in the ditch, but with a local car you have to get used to a different perspective, use your other hand to change gear etc. Its easier in a wrong-hand-drive if you have a passenger to help out.
You should have right hand drive cars there. I can only imagine how hard it would be to overtake a truck driving a lhd car on hte left side of the road.
You'd find it a lot easier if you had a car that was right-handed steering - I'm English but I've lived in the US and I just had to try driving. I couldn't have done it unless the steering wheel was above the middle of the road (like it should be) - just my two cents...
