I still believe if McCain had picked a moderate "I'm no Bush" VP McCain be President now. The wingnuts would have been up in arms for a month or two, but they'd still have voted for McCain come November.
@RobertSeattle You may be right. Still, I voted for Obama, and I don't think I would have voted for McCain in 2008 even without Palin. I was planning to do so in 2000, when he was mostly known for trying to clean up politics, but I think McCain changed in those 8 years. Still, I respect his stance against torture, and the classy way he handled election night.
I'm a Dem for Palin... in the GOP primary, that is, It's the 5 state strategy. As in 5 red states.
Side question: Can Palin still see Russia? And if she can, how exactly are "extreme greenies" to blame for the (partially climate change - fueled) fires there?
