@kunchwa6 songs are better, but ddr X pads are a piece of shit. low quality for Non-Japanese pads and there's a massive Lag, so instead of getting perfects you'll be getting Greats instead. X2 is a better machine overall. Still nothing beats In the Groove 2, the best dance machine ever created.

I like all the new latina songs, I feel like they should have made a latina ddr that would be awesome. Oh and totally a french one featuring new songs from Orange Lounge. Too bad it'll never happen. Honestly, I'd rather have the Japanese versions bc they have better music and America is always trying to play catch up and they cut a lot of good songs in the process. I wasn't really dissapointed with DDR X but the song lists really aren't as good as they used to be.

I actually like a lot of these artists like Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas, but this isn't the stuff I play DDR for. I'm also noticing that the steps in the beginner and basic difficulties are a lot higher than usual, and that's a pretty good way to scare off newcomers. Supernova 2 and Extreme 2 were way better than this.

Oh, one last thing...COLDPLAY DOESN'T BELONG ANYWHERE NEAR A DDR GAME!!!

But literally, I thought this game was gonna suck, but I was wrong. It has a lot of good revivals (Tierra Buena & Dance Dance Revolution) & great new songs (A Geisha's Dream & ZERO). Plus the specials, which I'd never expect to be on a US console release, are here, so I won't have to worry about having to go to an AC to play it (considering I live nowhere near one).

The songs you start with are usually pop stuff and shit, and all the unlockable stuff is the real Konami classic style stuff. I've heard that that current gen ones (Universe, Hottest Party) are pretty bad though

@ShannShabammz HP3 also has music from the last 4 or so decades ("never gonna give you up...") and the current-gen songwheel, but it also doesn't have challenge charts (shock arrow or harder charts) nor doubles charts.

Well, theres like 15 Pop songs(most of which suck). The rest are crossovers or songs from older DDR's, with the occasional new song. Pluto and Dead End are retarded, Dance Dance Revolution is FINALLY in an american home version, Kimono Princess and Roppongi Evolved are fkin awesome, and damn it, the more I play this the more I like it :c

Looking at the song list now makes me wonder why I just didnt get a pad off the Konami website instead of wastin $40 on the whole set.

The songlist has a bunch of songs that I already have on the previous versions of the game, and those that aren't on any of the others were just dissapointing.

Also, the difficulty threw me off. On my other games, I play on hard...but on this one, I found myself playing on difficult. really odd. v.v
