  • Your Imperial and Apostolic Majesty, R.I.P.

  • It seems to me that H.I.M. could comme back in Austria thanks to the intervention of H.M. the King Juan Carlos I° of Spain, who intervened with the austrian republic. All that; without renoncing to her historical position.

    Best regards

  • Many thanks for these extraordinary documents that tell , in spite of the enemies of the Catholic Church, that the truth may not be hidden and all our life is “in the scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals” (Apoc. 5:1). I pray for her beatification.

  • what a handsome couple! And you can tell from the pictures and footage that they were completely in love with each other.

  • Obrigada por postar este lindo vídeo! É histórico, adorei assistí-lo.

  • Gott Erhalte, Gott Beschutze

    Unser Kaiser, Unser Land...

  • Äntligen jag ser henne egentligen ville så mycket se henne.Jag är berättigad här som jag vill

  • Thank You for these wonderfull pictures!

  • Fascinating! Thanks for posting this. The Imperial Crypt was among the most fascinating things I saw in Vienna many years ago and I well remember seeing Zita's sarcophagus. Nice learning more about her. Didn't realize she is being beatified by the Catholic Church.

  • @Marzipancat Actually the beatification process of Zita is still open.

  • What is her husband doing in Madeira instead of his rightful place in Vienna?

  • @samk1101 You should see the video about him on this channel. After the second failed attempt at restoration in Hungary, they arrived in their final exile, the Portuguese island of Madeira, on 19 November 1921. Determined to prevent a third restoration attempt, the Council of Allied Powers had agreed on Madeira because it was isolated in the Atlantic and easily guarded.

  • @samk110 it is another way for those opposed to monarchies to "punish" a deposed Emperor that tried twice to reclaim his throne.

  • poor zita lifes was a tragedy born to a father that do nothing but produce children and marry them off to princes she was one of the few that marry for love am sure her catholic faith helps when her father died the children start arguring over her father 50 million dollars and castles and during the war her brothers joined both german and france which make the situation complicate for her since she was to be a empress of a gernmanic states of austria her husband was her only solace it devastates

  • Restore the Monarchy!

  • @BalletBabyBoy I'd be totally in favour of that.

  • the footage of the wedding is lovely. a really beautiful girl. i think i remeber seeing a portrait in budapest, it is her name that jogs my memory. could i be right? few of the photos or portraits capture her beauty the way the movie camera did. you have some very interesting photos. she was born at the wrong time. thank you for this look into history. i am not sure about the final frames, where is the coffin lying?

  • @johneunson her coffin is the last ( 5:47 ). She buried near to the Emperor Franz Joseph. Probably the portrait is about her, Zita was a rare name among the royals. And yes, she was beautiful inside and outside.

  • @johneunson It is in the crypt of the Capuchin church in Vienna.

  • Last Empress...
