I just looked at this bike for the first time, 2 days ago.. I can't think of anything else since.. I grew up on bikes, mainly dirt, but over the years had a crotchrocket and a few others. @matador5135 Yes, they look to be the TAB Performance baffled pipes. I cut massive pounds from mine by installing the stock pipes and mufflers in my attic...and V&H Competition 2 into 1 on my DX, lol.

If he stated the price was $299, they're the unbaffled pipes. I'm not sure the sound is that bad with baffles though. Besides, i think it would help with performance having a little back pressure. Then again, I'm not a mechanic, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Yeah, that's what I have now and they look exactly the same, so I assume you are correct.

These pipes are great for someone that wantsa slightly throaty sound without waking up every neighbor in the 'hood, but when you open it up, they are plenty loud in high RPMs.
