What a joke, he got sentenced to up to 25 YEARS (minimum of 7). Just imagine if he didn't have money, he would have spent a fair bit behind bars waiting for lawyers on both sides. Six days he spent inside of that sentence, the people with no money for decent lawyers or bail spend 2 and 3 years in jail just waiting for trial.

I really think Larry Flynt did so much for free speech, you hear people go on about all the time and they never realise they have "The Pervert" to thank for much of it.

I have this DVD and even though I'm not a fan of porn, I wish I had the same confidence Larry Flynt has towards his beliefs he so hugely defends. Woody Harrelson did an awesome job playing the part of Larry. I liked the interviews with the real Larry Flynt after the film too.

This movie is so wicked, cool, major, whatever the current word for it is: incredible director and script and some of my favourite actors such as Edward Norton and Woody Harrelson and above all, Courtney Love being phenomenal in her best role ever (to date at least). If only I could find the end of the film.... But everybody, anybody: watch this movie. It's soooo funny & relevant & moving.

Ive heard a lot of good things about this movie and i watched it yesterday. It wasn't very good at all.. there were some good scenes like this one here and the overall message was good but it dragged on and on... it was depressing and really in the end larry was such a total douche who could not even take care of himself he was just being a stubborn bitter man with an unhealthy life style that it just turned me off.
