  • Why does this piece need completion? After all, the original movement by Eberlin has no instrumental parts missing; what's more it already has a beautiful (and relatively long) orchestral prelude.

  • @kiserlet Hence why it says "edition" and not a completion. To answer your question- why does any work need completion? I wished to complete it and did as such.

  • Another fascinating Mozart mass!

  • @NebrasAlKhani Fascinating indeed. It's actually an incomplete sketch of Mozart's- when I received the score to begin completion, all there was was a partially complete Violincello line, and SATB completed vocals. So Basically my job was instumentatio- making it all work with the voices, and adding an introduction to the beginning, and a picardy third to the end. This piece is not actually OF Mozart- It is originally written by J.E. Eberlin, a contemporary of Leopold Mozart, Mozart's father.

  • You never cease to amaze me. You truly are talented.
